I grow my own Cayenne peppers primarily to make a pepper sauce. As the season is winding down I came up short on the amount that I needed to make my last batch. I decided to try these peppers to give me the quantity that I needed. I used a 1 to 4 ratio dried to fresh and the results were outstanding. I will definitely be a repeat customer!As an aside, I would like to see Valley of Tea offer larger quantities preferably equal to ounces. 4 and 8 would be ideal for me :)

These little peppers pack a surprising amount of heat and are definitely spicier than the cayenne powder you'll find at most stores. Can be ground up and used for all sorts of things from seasoning food to making your own topical pain relief ointment. I've also used it in herbal tea blends when I have a cold to help get the congestion moving. Good product, I would buy it again.

These you cannot find in the supermarket. They are great and hot.

This is a review of Valley of the Tea Store Dried Red Organic Cayenne PeppersThis is not my first time using these peppers; however, it is my first review of them.My primary use for this particular pepper is in making Louisiana-style hot sauce, and they are excellent for that purpose. Lip-smacking good.However, as the nights get longer and the days cooler, I can see using them in things like soups, stews and casseroles.This is my third or fourth order of these, and I find their consistency and quality top notch. And the fact that are in a resealable pouch is an excellent touch.Bottom LineIf you like the heat… Bring it on.
