Great end of summer find. I got the blueish "houndstooth" pattern. Although it's not traditional houndstooth, more like just some squigglies. But its OK! The pattern is really cute and the colors are very nice. I've worn and washed it probably 6 times and it's maintained the same size, shape, and quality as when it was brand new. I get more compliments on this dress than anything else I own. Usually pair with just black leggings and black combat boots. But you can also pair with the light blue color, gold, or white. I love the fit of this, it's probably the most comfortable and flattering dress I own. I'm 5'7, 175lb, athletic. The material is light and cool but still good for fall/winter. The top part has an extra lining, so you don't see your bra through and don't have to wear a cami! I'll be ordering more colors but this pattern is my favorite!

This is a great little dress for a casual day. I planned on wearing it as part of an elf costume for Ren Fen and was going to use a PU leather corset, elf ears and tall boots to complete the look. The price is great, had tons of good reviews so I ordered it. I mean, it's a super cute dress on it's own and I would totally wear this to go out for lunch with friends or to any casual event, not just Ren Fen. Based on the Amazon suggested size for me I ordered a large (I'm in between a C cup and a D cup in bra size). It arrived quickly (my PU leather corset did not, sadly) and looked perfect. Well made, tight seems, great length. I ended up wearing it without my corset but the only thing that I had an issue with was the chest size. It was, still is a bit tight the chest. Tight enough that it's obvious that it does not fit and so for that reason it's been put in the costume bin and not a dress I would wear throughout the year. The arms fit great, the length was perfect - just above the knee - not too short, not too long. I still like the dress and end up wearing it with a super tight sports bra and an infinity scarf to hide the tight chest. I suggest ordering a size up if you have above average size breasts (I'm in between a C and D cup bra size).

So, I love this dress. I FIRST ordered the long-sleeve black polka dot dress in a size large. After reading the reviews, I knew even though my ideal sizing could be either a medium or a large, it would be right to pick the large. I ordered it, shipping was quicker than expected. I tried it on... and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. I chose "fit as expected" for this review, only because I was smart enough to read the reviews beforehand. Or else, I would have chosen the the one between "too small" and "fit as expected" if I didn't know to choose the bigger size. This dress is super beautiful on. It is just fitted enough around the chest region so it doesn't look like a sack the rest of the way down, but enough room to breath and not show the oh-so not-awesome line from my bra in the back region. (Ladies, you know what I am talking about.) The sleeves are not constricting or too tight. I carry a little bit more weight in my arms than I would like to at the moment. So, feeling like I wasn't going to rip the sleeves off like the Hulk when I reached for something was awesome. The sleeves also hit me right where they were supposed to at the wrist. Which, is a miracle in itself given I have longer arms. The length off the dress is awesome. Hits me a little bit above the knee, which is what I hoped for because I wanted it to be appropriate for work, too. The dress is a thinner material, which is nice for Spring and Summer. I have a biker short shapewear bodysuit that will be perfect underneath to avoid any see-through ness that comes with ordering a dress in this type of material. More than anything, it's comfortable. Now your probably wondering, "Sophie, why are you only giving it three stars if you LOVE it so much." Well, I loved it so much I ordered more... 6 more to be precise. I ordered the green long-sleeved polka dot, and it was just as beautiful as the first one. The third and fourth ones I ordered was the short-sleeved and long-sleeved plain black dresses. They were also just as great at first one. (However, I noticed the material in these two was a little more see-through in the light. However, with some shape wear underneath it wasn't terrible at all, and I didn't feel like it was worth sending back just for that because they were both still beautiful on.) Then we finally get to why this review has three stars... The last three were the plain green long-sleeved dressed, the plain burgundy long-sleeved dress, and the buffalo plaid pattern long-sleeved dress. I opened the green one... immediately noticed it had a hole in the region that lies on the back of the neck. SAD. Opened the burgundy one... had two stains on the upper left sleeve. These weren't the kind of stains I felt like I could get out, either. They seemed hard, as if it was dried superglue. SAD. Then the buffalo plaid dress... The seam that lies under the chest region was not straight... it was SO crooked. I though it would be forgiven after I put it on, given the dress style... and it just looked WORSE. The seam dropped two and a half inches from the left to the right side. All three I just dropped off at UPS to return... And yes, I just got on and ordered four more, only one that is the same as one I returned. I want to give Amoretu a chance to redeem themselves. I love the four I got to keep. But having to return 3 of 7 is just so disappointing. If the next four come in and are just as beautiful, I will definitely be changing my rating.

I love this dress! Great colors and cute design. The cut is super flattering and the length is short but cute and flirty. Great fabric weight- does not feel cheap. Very comfortable too- I wear with boy shorts underneath to avoid a Marilyn Monroe moment. I have received a ton of compliments in this!

I normally do not have a lot of success ordering clothes on Amazon so when I loved this dress I thought I’d write a review! I’m normally between and large and extra large, I like my clothes to fit a little loose so I tend to get XL. But I went with the large on this and the fit was perfect. The quality of the dress was much better and thicker than I expected too! I’m 5’7” and the length was perfect too. It was a tad tight in the shoulders when I tried to take the dress off but it didn’t feel tight when I was wearing it. I’m going to buy this in another color too because I like it so much!

I ordered based on the size chart and went with a medium. I could get it on, but I knew once I got it over my chest and shoulders it wasn't going to work. I think broad wide shoulders were more of an issue than my chest size. The even bigger challenge once it was on, was getting it off. Be warned- there is zero stretch to this fabric. I give it credit- it didn't rip even though I was pulling extremely hard in an attempt to rip it, because it wasn't going to come off any other way, due to no stretch and no zipper. I was by myself, and had the fleeting thought of going to my next door neighbor's house to have her pull it off of me. If I wasn't in a hurry to get out of the house I probably would have. And I don't even LIKE my next door neighbor. That's how desperate I was. I ended up having to literally cut it off of me. You think it's hard to take of a sports bra when you're sweaty? At least that has stretch, and if you're lucky you can pull it down your body rather than over your head. If you're within an inch of the measurements of the size chart, please size up. Otherwise, you'll end up wondering who you wronged in life to be trapped in such a cute top which you cannot escape without destroying it. Honestly it is super cute. I wish it didn't try to suffocate me. Two stars for cuteness. Negative 2304 stars for intent to kill.

for reference, i’m 5’3”, about 170lbs and wear a L/XL. i bought the dark green one (size L) in Oct. 2023 and it has held up well over the last 2 years. i bought the burgundy one in Oct. 2025 in the same size and the sizing is way off. the material is also different even though the listing shows it should be 100% dacron. the burgundy one is a heavier and stretchier fabric (the tag says it’s rayon, nylon, and spandex) while the green one is more light and definitely has no stretch. i still like both dresses and they are true to the color of the listing which i appreciate. overall a nice dress just beware it’s not consistent sizing or fabric!
