I have only used them once, they helped saving a lot of time.Saying that they don't give you the nice crescent shape of Chinese dumplings but we can't have it all.Can't comment yet on sturdiness as only used once so far.

The cutter cuts slightly smaller than the mold, so you need to stretch the dough into place, otherwise it doesn't fold evenly - also make sure to dab water round the edges to make it stick better

These dumpling makers are ok, when shut, they don't stick the dough properly, so you have to pinch with your fingers to make sure that the dumplings are closed
