Not use for holi
Do not buy this product if you want to play holi with it, you will hurt yourself. Some cheap guy took suji or granulated rice added food coloring and selling it for $15.

Not so good for Holi.
The colors were beautiful and it was packaged nicely. It didnāt work as holi colors- instead of having the soft, chalk like quality that creates clouds of colors as you throw them, this felt like salt/sand. It hurt the kids as they played and didnāt stick. We used it for rangoli with some success.

Very pale colors after drying
Not vibrant or remotely bright, even with presoaking in soda water.

NOT Holi powder
Rangoli, NOT for Holi. Had planned to use this to play Holi with my family. Arrived late and then discovered it was rangoli granules, NOT Holi powder. Very disappointing.

Not powder, sand-like texture & thick plastic packaging
I bought this, thinking I could use it for a powder photography photo shoot.... uhm nope! This is NOT a powder. The consistency is closer to salt crystals. I tried mixing it with some dry flour to see if it would Help with the texture at all. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE!! This product is receiving 2 stars instead of one because itās probably my fault for not looking up ragoli. Also, Iām an art teacher so Iām sure I can figure out how to make this into magic sand or something. My 1 year old son did enjoy throwing the bags of colored sand. The packaging is great. No spills or tears and he has picked it up and thrown it on the ground several times. He even tried to bite open a package and wasnāt successful. On the flip side of that, if you do try to open the packaging, use a pocket knife or a pair of scissors.
