Braun Series 7 New Generation Electric Shaver 73s Replacement Head, Compatible with 7020s, 7025s, 7085cc, 7027cs, 7071cc and 7075cc Shavers

I had changed from a $40 no-name rotary, which did a decent job, yet not a real close shave, and was disappointed when the Braun really wasn't clearly better for three times the price. It could give a close shave, but was slower, and the biggest gripe was if you skipped a day it really struggled with even one day's extra growth. I have a thin, patchy growth, so the cutting heads don't get a tough workout. It would get most of it fairly quickly, but there'd be strands all over that I had to go back and try to get. Anyhow, my original head was about eighteen months old, wondering if it needed replacement because I was getting more burn. One day I dropped the head in the sink and the two of the three cutting sections popped out. I gave up trying to put it back together and gambled on the price of another head rather than try a whole new shaver. Voila! The thing works better than it ever did! Close, easy shaves, no problems skipping a day. When I examined the old head after falling apart it appeared the middle section, which I suspect helps a lot with longer growth because of the size of the openings, was somehow not working, the mechanism looked busted or perhaps not connected up with the connector bar that drove it from one of the side cutters. Anyway, I'm glad I bought the replacement - saved the whole shaver for me, and am finally happy with it.

You can buy off-brand items, yet these are a quality item. I bought off-brand previously and they did not hold up like these

Braun recommends head replacement every 18 months, but I got two years from mine. As you can see in the first picture, I had to replace the head. I use this to shave my head, and this head gets me down close. I have no complaints so let’s see if I can get another 24 months from this one.

Order Placed: August 2023 Item Broke: June 2024 Prices at Purchase: 22.99 Current Price: 43.94 This is tough to review since getting 10 months out of a razor head is not too bad. I shave daily for the most part and I do not push hard. I let the razor do it's work. I go through periods of growing out facial hair, but that doesn't last long. The razor foil heads are thin anyways, but the original head that came with the razor lasted me a couple of years. Quality is fair, so three stars (changing to 4 stars for overall due to seller) works in my opinion. The value for the money was good when I purchased it at 22.99, but raising the price to 43.94 in 10 months is steep. I understand inflating the price due to demand, but the product is probably breaking, and some don't want to hassle. I recommend setting the price around 32.99 - 34.99 (max). Even thought that is still high, if you compare to other prices, then it works. The current price of 43.94 makes me look at new S7 shavers priced at 149.94 at one of the big stores. Seller is good. Absolutely no issues. I rated threes stars initially, but not to affect the seller, I am going up to 4 stars overall. Thanks, Chris

I had a much older version. This is mostly an improvement. I miss the pop up trimmer but I appreciate all the attachments that come with this model. It easily locks for travel and it suggests when to order a new cutting head.

Received this order very promptly. This was my second order due to first order filled incorrect. Easily rectified the error with a credit from Amazon. This replacement works extremely well. I like these Braun shavers. Very little pull and a very close save. It is very good that replacements are available due to the fragile nature of these products.
