The Forest and the Trees: Sociology as Life, Practice, and Promise 3rd Ed.

I purchased this book for a Sociology course. I wish all professors utilized authors such as Allan Johnson. This is not a typical, boring textbook. The author breaks down concepts clearly and provides easy to grasp examples. The book isn't 300 pages either. I wish there was an audible version because I would listen to chapters multiple times. I obtained a great deal of information and understanding from this book. I'm ordering other books he has written.

I needed this for my Sociology class and there were no markings or anything. Thank you! I have had bad experiences purchasing books via online that claim brand new but had tons of markings and highlighting. This stuck true to the descriptions and great book.

Cheaper than other places & interesting book

This was ordered for myself as an academic textbook, it arrived in an appropriate amount of time. This book is thoroughly interesting, and it is good for someone new to studying the practice/discipline of sociology. A.G Johnson is a well-educated, funny and informative individual who offers amazing outlooks on life, people and society. I would for sure recommend this book/purchase through amazon. :)
