Great Quality Almond Oil – Perfect for Baby Massage and Moisturizing
’ve been using this NOW Foods Sweet Almond Oil for my baby’s daily massage and even for his hair, and it has worked wonderfully. The oil is light, absorbs easily, and leaves the skin soft without feeling greasy. It’s gentle enough for a baby’s sensitive skin and provides long‑lasting moisture, which has been especially helpful during dry weather. I also noticed it helps maintain a healthy glow and supports soft hair growth, which has been a bonus. The oil truly feels pure and clean, and I appreciate that it’s non‑GMO and doesn’t contain any added fragrances or unnecessary ingredients. Even for adults, it works great as an all‑purpose moisturizer — for the body, hands, and even as a hair oil. Many people praise it for being easily absorbed, and I agree. It doesn’t clog pores, and it spreads smoothly. Some reviewers mention the bottle’s appearance changing due to recycled material, which didn’t bother me, but I can understand the mixed reactions. If there’s one improvement I would love, it’s having a pump-style dispenser. The current bottle works fine, but a pump would make daily use, especially with a baby, a lot easier and less messy. What I liked • Excellent moisturizer for babies and adults • Helps maintain healthy, soft skin and supports hair growth • Pure, non‑GMO almond oil with no added scents • Absorbs quickly and doesn’t clog pores • Versatile — works for skin, hair, and massage • Great value for a large 16‑oz bottle What could be better • Packaging would be more convenient with a push‑pump dispenser • Bottle can feel slightly slippery when used with oily hands Overall impression This is a high‑quality almond oil that works beautifully for moisturizing, baby massage, and hair care. It’s gentle, effective, and a great value for the size. With a better dispensing option, it would be close to perfect.

Good product
Almond oil has a light texture and is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy feeling. I use it to moisturize the skin and also for the hair, and in both cases it works very well. The aroma is soft and pleasant. Excellent quality for its size and price.

I am guilty for having being quite cruel to my once healthy, thick and long manageable hair. Permanent straightening, then curling, then colouring, then blow drying and of course hair iron. None of these anymore. FOR SCALP & HAIR - Anyways, I recently started researching for recipe's for homemade hair masks to heal, lengthen and strengthen my hair. Majority of the recipe's had Castor oil in it and also as a kid my mother would apply castor oil to my eyebrows, to help thicken them. That got me to think and also to invest in this product along with NOW Sweet Almond oil. Just 2 weeks of using this product I felt my hair strands more thicker and noticeably less brittle. I apply a mixture of (NOW castor oil, NOW Almond Oil and Parachute Coconut Oil) twice a week and keep it overnight. I make the homemade mask with (Avocado, Eggs, Banana, Raw honey, NOW castor oil, NOW Almond Oil and Olive oil) every weekend and leave it on for 2 hours and shampoo and condition normal with COLD preferably or luke warm water. Hot water will cook the egg in your hair and I'd much prefer having scrambled eggs in my tummy than on my hair...lol! After every wash I re-apply (a drop of each-Castor, almond, coconut) just to my roots and ends when my hair is very wet, they work great as a leave-in conditioner and my hair doesn't feel greasy after they air dry. Instead they are nice bouncy and shiny Its been a month since I have started the above routine and I am so glad to have found these 2 products that I am hooked for good. I prefer to mix castor oil with Almond because its consistency is quite thick and Almond helps to smooth the application as well as moisturize, whereas castor gets the circulation going. DURING AND AFTER SHAVE - I also add the NOW sweet Almond Oil to my shaving cream or gel to smoothen the shaving process on my legs etc. Apply it after shave as well to avoid dry, itchy skin. EYEBROWS - I have recently tried using mixture of (castor oil and almond oil) on my eyebrows and eyelashes (be careful - avoid your tear ducts area and don't let it go into your eyes). Don't know whether its working on my eyelashes or not cos I am not keeping tabs but definitely noticed new hair growth on my eye brows. I do this before I go to bed. In the morning I take Almond oil on a round cotton ball and swipe over my eye-lids (just like when you attempt to remove eye-makeup) Just to give it a thorough swipe cos of the thickness castor oil contains and then wash your face normally. I suffer from mild to average acne and I feared of breakouts but to my surprise this routine after I washed it off gave a lovely glow around my eyes and forehead. Maybe I'll try just almond oil on face next time when I make my face pack. I am very happy with NOW products, received them in timely manner, in good condition and above all they are so ridiculously CHEAP. I have vowed NOT to buy expensive shampoos or conditioners or soap cos my hair, my scalp and skin are already getting all the nourishment it requires from the above routine's so why spend any more. PLEASE NOTE - Whenever trying anything new preferably do a small test to see if it suits you. Cos what works for one person may not work for everybody.

This almond oil is really good for your skin!
I purchased Aloe Skin Gel for eczema along with Sweet Almond Oil and a couple other items in the hopes that at least one of them would help clear up my skin. The almond oil (made by Now Solutions) seems to be working the best for me - it's sold on Amazon and comes in a 16-ounce bottle. I use the almond oil on my hands, arms, shoulders, thighs, legs and feet twice a day. It absorbs quickly because it's a light oil and not greasy. I also purchased "Babytime by Episencial Soothing Cream - Organic Eczema and Itchy Skin" (also sold on Amazon) but this product, designed for sensitive baby's skin, seems to have fallen into 3rd place for daily use application - and it costs $11 for a small tube, which won't last long when using it for nearly full body coverage. (Aloe Vera gel is now my number two product). The Now Solutions sweet almond oil is also reviewed on Amazon and a couple people said a 16-ounce bottle is a large amount of product, but if you have widespread skin issues, you'll be glad you purchased the sweet almond oil in a 16-ounce size. The Aloe life Skin Gel (in an 8 ounce bottle) should last about a month if used liberally twice a day as I've described my use of it above. If you have Eczema, you can save yourself a lot of time by checking out the items I've mentioned, which I purchased to use instead of cortisone cream (expediently prescribed by a dermatologist - what a racket). I also tried Eucerin Skin Calming Daily Moisturizing Creme (14 Ounce Tube) and used this religiously for more than two years, every day. Also Cerave (the body cream and the body lotion). Although both Eucerin and Cerave are dermatologist recommended products, I found that these two products (Cerave and Eucerin) work better after my skin is clear, rather than to clear it up after or during an outbreak. My skin gets really dry in the winter, so I've done a lot of research (really a lot) on how to deal with it. Some additional suggestions include: showering every two days, instead of daily. Wear cotton instead of synthetic fabrics or wool. Don't wash your hands with Dial soap or with any soap with fragrance added. Use Basis soap instead (available on amazon in a six pack). Buy a shampoo that's formulated for sensitive skin (I purchased Sweet Baby Shampoo, 16 oz., Sulfate Free, No Parabens, Phthalates, Dyes, etc.). It smells like coconut which I like. Use a vaporizer in every room in your house, especially in your bedroom. (And good luck finding one you like - none of the vaporizers on amazon are highly rated). Whatever you do, don't fall into the trap of relying upon cortisone cream. That won't solve the problem and you can't use it daily for full body coverage. Actually I've heard that Cortisone creams can make your skin thinner. My current favorite solution is the sweet almond oil. "Babytime by Episencial Soothing Cream - Organic Eczema and Itchy Skin" is worth trying too, but it may or may not work on your skin. Or, if it does work, it might only work on certain parts of your body but not others. Some people an amazon have also tried sea salt baths, but I would only dip into a salt bath with caution - as it could potentially make your skin problems worse if you're sensitive to salt water (as I am). If you read the Dead Sea Salts reviews on amazon, just keep in mind that a high percentage of the people who posted reviews were given free samples of the produce in exchange for "an honest review" but I've rarely seen products on amazon reviewed in such large numbers in exchange for free samples. I hope all of this helps; even if it helps one person, it will be worth the time I took to write this review!

Skincare for my hairless dogs. Lightweight doesn’t clog pores.
Using this for skin care on my hairless dogs. Light and doesn’t seem to clog their pores. Wished it were a lad thicker consistency to make It’s a little messy and easier to apply. It runs between my fingers. Started taking off the entire cap instead of using the tilt lid. Overall nice quality. Love it and already bought again.
