Great way to get concept art for a Disney film that is often overlooked! I've always appreciated the stylised vision in this film but find that art books rarely focus on it. This is a lovely little book, obviously meant as a story book however for the price of it, I'm more than happy to add it to my art book collection.

Do NOT buy if you want the actual Dodie Smith full story version, as this is the Disney very abreviated movie version. Never the less it is a lovely book in its own right. With a fully illustrated (red/white and black) front and back cover, inside front and back jacket illustration also. Only 69 pages but has many wonderful pencil and colour images from the film plus the story aswell. Would make a great gift for any child/adult who is a big fan of the book/movie or anyone who loves dalmations aswell. Was reasonably priced and book size is slightly smaller than A4 if that helps. Also comes with a red ribbon marker attached aswell.

Bought for my partners birthday, arrived today and its amazing! Will be brilliant to pass down through the family too. Love it!

Ottimo titolo di una collana prestigiosa (ovviamente è chiaro che si rifà al film Disney e non al romanzo originale di Dodie Smith) che è veramente un peccato non poter vedere stampata con gli stessi curatissimi crismi anche in italiano. Spero che continui all'infinito, almeno per tutti i classici animati storici della Disney!

本の中身、装丁は五つ星。開けた途端、目に入ったのは白い布製表紙に黒い汚れ！縁があってうちに来てくれた本だから返品交換せずに大事にします。が、本が可哀想。梱包も薄い紙袋に直接入れてあり、雨や雪の日だと酷いことになっていたと思います。とにかく扱いが酷くて本が可哀想。月刊誌を頼んだ時ははビニールかけてやたら頑丈な箱に入ってきたのに今回酷すぎる！大事な事だから3回言います。本の扱いが酷くて本がかわいそう！

This is the second book I have purchased from this series (the first being The Lon King), and I really like the unique concept artwork it features that sets it apart from other Disney books. I am disappointed that the vast majority of the pictures are very basic pencil sketches that look very faded and lacking in detail. I wish it instead had more full-color concept artwork, but there are only a few throughout the book. The cover alone makes it worth getting, and it looks great to display.
