just received instructions easy work great so far like i said just received this. display is big to read and has a lot of info. price was on sale so it was worth it. now i have too see if it keeps up time etc. but right now worth every penny when on sale.

I needed a clock outside to put on the table under the TV. I wanted the time to have the largest numbers. Some of the other models have the temperature, humidity, etc. larger than the time and in fact, very small. The clock was easy to set up and it’s working great. The time is completely accurate as is temperature and humidity. I love that it’s all easy to read and still doesn’t take up a lot of room. Now I don’t have to peer inside my window to see what time it is. Very happy with this purchase. The only thing that would make it even more perfect would be a backlight.

I just got this clock and so far I like it. Before it arrived I was convinced that I wouldn’t like it and that I would end up sending it back. But I will not send it back if I continue to like it as much as I do now. One thing was different than what I expected. Even though I read the dimensions, this clock was much smaller than I thought it would be. But that is OK.Some things that seem to bother other people don’t bother me. I specifically wanted a clock without a backlight because I don’t like the light in my face when I’m sleeping. I specifically wanted an LCD not an LED display for the same reason.I also specifically wanted a clock that was not atomic. I have numerous atomic clocks around my house and have had them for 30 years. I like them but there are certain specific areas of my house where they won’t pick up the signal from Fort Collins.These spots in my house are where I need to put clocks that use different signals. Bluetooth and RTC chip timekeeping devices come to mind. And these clocks do work perfectly in the parts of my house where atomic clocks won’t work.As far as the actual timekeeping, I will have to determine that before the return window closes. That is why right now I am giving the clock only four stars. As soon as I put in the batteries the time appeared, and right away I noticed that it was about 10 seconds behind my atomic clocks. I don’t think 10 seconds matters enough to me to reset the clock. But the caveat is, will the clock stay at 10 seconds off or will it continue to lose time?Only “time will tell”. I will watch this closely over the next three weeks. If the clock continues to lose time I will send it back before the 30 day return limit occurs. If the clock stays at 10 seconds slow, I will keep it. I have enough other clocks and watches that keep time to the exact second, so it won’t bother me if this one is off a little bit.At some point I will reevaluate, and I may then end up giving this clock five stars.

I purchased this item to replace a much older similar desk clock. This clock's screen is about 5x8 inches, perfect on my desk, and easily readable from across the room. I just inserted 3 AA batteries in the clock and it immediately displayed the current correct time, date, day of the week, relative humidity, and room temperature. The auto Daylight savings time option was already on, and the clock was already set for my time zone. Absolutely remarkable. Apparently, there are secondary batteries already installed in the clock, it keeps track of the time even when the main batteries are not installed while the unit is waiting to get to you. The secondary batteries do not power the screen, the 3 AA do that, but they keep track of the time so when you change the batteries there is no fussing with complex reset procedures. A sort of backup system to make your life easier. So much better than my old clock. This exceeded my expectations by a mile!
