1001 Tarot Spreads: The Complete Book of Tarot Spreads for Every Purpose (1001 Series)

I really didn’t know what I would be getting with this book but that something just said to get the book. I’m so glad I did. It’s hard found, but the inner pages are not too thin. There are so many different spreads for any & all occasions you can think of. There are some to determine if you should online date. Some of the spreads require a partial deck and the book tells you which cards to remove, it also tells you the best time of day, week, or month to do the reading I’m a beginner so I’m still learning, but it’s been pretty spot on and definitely helpful with the few that I have done The book is an excellent price for everything it has in it (amazing price) and I would definitely recommend adding it to your collection.

I was patiently waiting for this book but when it arrived the money was worth everything plus more. I started to thumb through it (just to get a glimpse of it) then I started to read it, then I actually started really reading it and I enjoyed it how the card mapping and instructions etc etc . then as I started to get to the later chapters in towards the back of the book talking about crystals, astrology, developing psychic powers, numerology, lucid dreaming and holding a certain card and singing a tune putting it under your pillow imaging a rainbow or printing a large copy of your daily tarot card hanging up on your wall and burning the picture and light two white candlesticks in btwn the picture and burning incense or oil relaxing as closing your eyes thinking of your daily tarot I was like what in the hell did I get my self into!? Lol.. Its loads upon loads of information in that book it’s well worth the buy promise you that Ms Cassandra Eason if your reading this review I’m a beginner tarot reader and you put out a one hell of a banger!! The introduction and contents alone should speaks for itself THANK YOU!!

There is a tarot spread for just about any issue you may want to use tarot for. Fun book, for novice or experienced reader.

Cool things: it’s a big book full of spreads that you have at your fingertips for quick reference. I love that it’s hardback and it’s a great price. The spreads are easy to read and I like how it has the old classics with new twists. For people who complain about the Celtic cross, there is a version here I haven’t seen before. I find the Celtic Cross to be the “stealth archer” of the tarot world: you want to try other characters but stealth archer just works. Things that I find not so cool: omg so many spreads! Do we really need a one card spread in this chapter AAAAND another one card spread in a completely different chapter that is basically the same as the other one card spreads but is different because this has to do with getting your beloved pet salamander a new coat. Or jems like “my kid wants to move in with their bf/gf but I think they are too young”…even going as far as one of the cards getting you to consider having the bf/gf move into YOUR house……….smh. Overall I like the book. I like having things “on hand” and there is nothing to say you can’t make these spreads your own. I just wish I could find a useful reference book that wasn’t integrated with “my outfit didn’t work today, why” or “should I become a tik toker” (I jest but, still). But in this game there are no rules, more like guidelines anyway.

I didn't quite know what I was going to get beyond 1001 spreads. I was looking for inspiration to figure out how to build my own. This book is quite useful for that, but what was far more fascinating is that the very specific spread types are basically the gamut of what questions a professional tarot reader would get from clients. Some pro readers build unique spreads for each client's situation, and this book is a good illustration of the breadth of issue varieties and thus spreads you need to either come up with or have on hand when you "go pro." Additionally some of the spreads have example readings attached, which are quite interesting to read and think about whether you would have had a similar interpretation. All in all, I didn't expect this kind of business information to be available anywhere, but here it conveniently is!

Wow! Not only is this book packed with specific spreads (almost overwhelming) it's a pain to order. I can't understand why this book is so hard to find and purchase (not readily available in stores or online). Very strange! I love the variety of spreads. Many I may not use however, I'm interested in creating my own spreads and was guided to purchase this book as a reference. I am not disappointed. For those who are looking to developing their own spreads this book is a great inspiration. I have a client reading coming up and I have my clients question upfront. I found a spread in this book for it and will be using it in their personal reading (expanding on the usual spreads). The key energy I'm getting from this book is to enjoy it. Play around with the spreads and just have fun with tarot.
