will this work on my australian console

we live in australia and have Australian ds consoles and it wont play at all i even had left review stating this game wont play.it is quite possible this game is a bootleg because we had bought ds games from America before and they worked but this bratz games does not show up at all.each of our ds consoles says no game inside . i would be careful when buying this game. rather buy the winx club ds game this plays fine and is a nice game to play
