EASILY the best backpack I've ever owned - 2 1/2 years and still going strong.
I bought this bag when I started a new job 2 1/2 years ago that had me traveling around the city in all kinds of weather. I would walk in heavy rain, heavy snow, super cold temps and super hot temps. I've tossed this bag, hurridly grabbed it many times before, and have completely stuffed it to the brim for flights and traveling abroad. Nothing ever required repairs. Even the inside material is quite strong and even though I've stuffed it to the brim multiple times, nothing inside has ever torn. This is easily the best backpack I've ever owned. It's already outlasted three duffel bags, multiple other backpacks, two leather wallets, and multiple lanyards. If it's pouring rain outside, nothing inside will get wet at all. If you want to store an average sized water bottle, there's a place for that that zips on one side of the bag. If you want to store multiple laptops, there multiple spaces for that. If you want to keep vital documents safe, the zip right in the back has enough room for everything. The should straps are comfortable, and I've never felt any pain in ny shoulder from them, even after hours of wearing them. I can clip a large water bottle to them easily and there has been zero damage from clipping things to it. Adjusting the straps is still as easy as it was on day one, and they never fall apart or adjust themselves. The front pocket was extremely useful, and the quality of all the zippers is superb. Never had them open by themselves, never had anything break on them, and again, I've heavily used this bag for years now. It also looks quite nice, and is absolutely worth the money.

Durable, quality backpack
I’ve had this a little over a year now and use it as my main backpack for every day commuting and for work travel every 2-3 months. It easily fits under the seat in front of you when traveling. I like that a contact card/tag comes with it. I leave a business card in it in case it ever gets lost. I also hang a hand sanitizer bottle from the tag loop. The larger side pocket can fit a slim water bottle or a medium length umbrella. The smaller side pocket fits my portable battery pack well too. Interior pockets fit a lot and the main backpack store could probably hold the width of 4-5 MacBook Pros. My personal 16” MBP can fit inside the main pocket but it’s a bit of a stretch. My 14” work MBP fits perfectly. Only issue I’ve had is one of the clip straps started to come off in the last week. The main adjustment straps are a difficult to adjust when wearing, which is a pro and con since they won’t slip. I’ve also noticed the back computer storage zipper will come unzipped if the zippers are at the top. I rarely use that part but zip them all the way down to the right. Material is thick and I’ve not had issues with anything piercing or deeply scratching the leather. The zipper teeth are a little sharp at the beginning but soften with use. Didn’t notice any bad smell with mine and the leather ages really well. This backpack WILL get heavy. The last time I weighed it (full) it was about 17-18 lbs. Really well made backpack for the price. I’ve gotten several compliments from strangers on the look!

Great Leather backpack
Fantastic backpack! I have been looking for a high quality leather backpack that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg and I think I've got it. The leather definitely looks and feels like the thick full grain that was advertised. It also has that nice leather smell, idk if other people will like the smell but I definitely do. I was worried with such nice leather that the zippers would be where corners were cut but it definitely doesnt feel that way. They're smooth and sturdy and don't feel like they'll break on me anytime soon. **Edit July 29, 2022 I've had this bag for a year now and it's still going strong. I take this to work with me everyday and do not baby it in the slightest anymore. Zippers are still smooth and I still get compliments on it. It does have some natural wear on the leather from my nails and being set down but it doesn't take away from the look and if anything adds to it. I do treat the leather once every 6 months but that's about it. ***Edit October 26, 2025 Ive had this bag now about 4 years, and its still my daily bag and I still love it! Other than some stitching in the middle of the shoulder strap that loosened shortly after I got it, there's been no other issues. It still holds a heavy load with no issues on the seams and the zippers are still smooth and sturdy. I expect to have this backpack for more years to come. I've added some recent pictures and the leather still looks fantastic and has continued to age well in my opinion and the leather has softened a bit but still stiff enough to keep its shape.

Great laptop bag
This is a great laptop bag. Ive had mine for about a year now, and i love it. One if the zippers broke, on the side pocket, but i can still open and close the pocket. The leather quality is really good too! Nice and thicker leather. No complaints other than the zipper, and i have some of the blame for that.

Very Nice leather backpack
I use this for my thick leather Bible (9×6×4), a thick leather notebook (8x4x4), a standard notepad, along with two books, pens, highlighters, a water bottle, and misc items. It fits it all ! It's beautiful and very sturdy. I love leather and will condition this as that's important to do. I would HIGHLY recommend this backpack and my only improvement would be a double zipper on the small front compartment that holds pens and stuff but that is very minor. I had a leather messenger bag but I wanted a more compact bag and this fit the bill. I love this bag.

When I head into the city or travel, I like to have lots of things with me and I insist they be organized in my bag. Glasses, wipes, phone, spare battery and cables, headphone, some chocolate and werthers, a couple of face masks, pen, (and sometimes a passport and tickets). This backpack has it all. Well designed and easy to access. I love the separate pocket for my laptop and iPad - very easy to access even with a fully packed bag - extra nice when at airport security. Both the rear (laptop) and front main pockets open wide so it is easy to access whatever stuff you are carrying. The smaller side pocket is great for a water bottle (unlikely to hold a large bottle, the Dasani size is probably the largest you will get in there). I'd rather it was a dedicated water bottle pocket, but presumably the zipper on it makes the pocket more useful to those who do not like carrying water. Not a big deal. The larger side pocket is great for an umbrella. I have mine in there permanently now so I will never get caught without it and it does not interfere with the rest of my bag's contents. Nice and tough leather. Stitching and zippers look and feel durable. I find it quite comfortable to carry. Not sure I'd want to take it on a day-long hike unless I fitted a strap across my chest to hold the two straps in place.

Un poco pesado pero muy agradable al uso con numerosas bolsas más o menos grandes.

I really like the number of pockets and storage spaces. I need to carry lots of accessories and I'm able to fit them and organise them well in this bag. The metal zippers look like they could be durable.

Had it a couple of days, given it a good look over, taken it out a couple of times. Excellent solid bag. Good quality leather, good stitching, handles reinforced with well-set rivets and despite some of the reviews, good zippers. They don't stick, they're very smooth - but there's clearly a slight problem with quality assurance in that in some of them the metal arch that keeps the zipper handle captive isn't bent enough to hold it, and it can come off in your hand. So when you get your bag, you should check each of the zippers and if the arch isn't bent over properly, brace it against something solid and hit it with something heavy. That'll fix it. No RMA required. The larger side pocket is an excellent size for a 750ml/24oz water bottle; a 500ml coke bottle will fit with room to spare. The smaller pocket fits my moderately sized camera well for fast access. I was a little concerned that the main compartment might not be big enough but it's got plenty of capacity... if anything there's too many pockets, a couple of these, while excellently finished and lined, are too small to be used for much except pocket change. The laptop compartment is very generous with pockets for a couple of devices or books. My laptop's only 14" so I can't vouch for the really massive ones. I like that the zipper goes all the way around on both front and back compartments giving full access. I saw a concern that there wasn't enough cushioning; honestly, there's more than on my last backpack and I think it'll be fine unless you're drop kicking your bag into the car. Checked baggage on a flight? Ehhhh, maybe not. The straps are very comfortable, the pad is breathable and sits snugly on my back and I'm a big chap. I've worked with leather a while and I have no trouble believing the colouring on this will run, that's just the reality of leather. Don't wear it in the damp against clothes you like. The leather will attract scuffs and bruises, and the best thing about crazy horse or tooling leather is that it's going to wear it as character to make your bag unique. This isn't a Radley bag or something that you keep in factory condition, or that you ever could. Treat it bad, apologize later with beeswax. I'll come back after a couple of months with an update.
