Yuletide Treasure: Celtic & English Music for Winter Celebration

This is a nice collection. I bought it for my daughter so she could do a duet with her friend who plays the piano. It is much easier to find doable harp duets for a pianist than piano duets for a harpist. I found some of the arrangements quite strange. Maybe I need to hear them on a recording, but only a few suited my tastes which is why I docked a star. My daughter is playing Nos Galan (Deck the Halls) with her friend. It is very spirited and pretty. It will be nice at our Christmas recital. Her teacher is pleased with the addition of fingering in the music. It makes her job that much easier. Recommended.

This is such a wonderful collection of songs! I purchased it in order to have new material for performing at Christmastime, and I am very pleased with it. The arrangements are beautiful and I now have several new favorites. I like the options for duets--both with other harps, and with other melody instruments. I think this is a great book for any intermediate to advanced harper.
