Amla Powder, 3.5 Oz

Excited to give this a try!! UPDATE: I looove this! my hair feels so soft, a little thicke, it’s shiny and smells so good!I poured this amla powder into a bowl, microwaved some water in a separate bowl, microwaves a little bit of black jamaican castor oil and coconut oil in another bowl and mixed everything together. the mixture was thick and warm, I applied to my hair, part by part and let it sit for about an hour and a half. I showered and washed all of the clay out, it was a bit though to wash out because the clay was dried up by then and super thick so I used a weave brush to brush through my hair. my hair haven’t gotten curly in a long time since I bleached my hair so much but this powder really helped. I can see waves and curls in the back.

I use a half a tablespoon in my bi-weekly deep conditioner and I immediately noticed the strengthening of my 4C hair! I now can pull it and not worry that it will suffer breakage.Update: After using this for four washes (over two months), I noticed that my hair lost its volume and curl pattern (it became straighter and thinner) - however, it still retained its strength. Thus, I would recommend that you use this product once a year or, at most, once every six months.

OMG! Stopped my massive hair breakage after the very first use! The product is truly a God send, I was afraid I would lose all my hair before I found a remedy that would work for me and believe me I have tried a lot.I must warn you though it is a little messy and you need to block out about 1.5 hours but it is well worth the mess and the time. Not only did my hair stop shedding, it is actually growing with the use of the inversion method an inch already this month!If I could give this product a 10 ..... I would. What I like most about this product, other than the fact that it nourishes my hair and the results are immediate, is that there is actual scientific evidence of the positive affects Amla can have on the hair follicles. I'm so glad I discovered this herb and I look forward to the end results of it's use.

I bought this because I read on some online forums that amla will restore loosened curls caused by using henna. I've used henna twice in as many months, the first was a full henna which loosened my curls, which is why I purchased amla and mixed it with henna and Herbal Essence Hello Hydration conditioner to make a henna gloss. My curls did not return but did not become straighter. I purchased Terraessentials mud wash and my springy coils returned. I believe the mud wash clarified my hair of the henna residue. I give this product a three because it was easy to use and it may or may not have prevented my curls from straightening. Don't be discouraged from using it though it may work differently for someone else. Hope this helps.

I have recently gotten into the Aruyvedic hair care products in an attempt to strengthen and improve the health of my natural hair. I have a mixed texture of curly 3b/3c hair. I must say that I am please with the results I am getting so far. My hair did feel stronger and thicker after like 2 or 3 applications. The first time I mixed this with just plain water and applied to my dry hair as a paste and let it sit for about an hour and simply rinsed out with water and continued on with my co-washing and deep conditioning. My hair was shinier and I could see more definition in my curls. I like the smell but it can be a bit messy when applying so you might want to put down towel or newspaper on your bathroom sink and floor. I did make sure I concentrated the mixture in the roots first then work my way down the strands of hair. the second time I did mix this powder with water, coconut oil and aloe vera gel and I found it was much smoother to apply and rinse out. I will continue to use this in conjunction with Kalpi tone powder to improve the health of my hair naturally.

Really good it helps my hair feel syronger, and It makes fades my henna because it's way 2 redIt helps my roots feel like it grows my hair, I bought this and liked it and bought an expensive version different brand it didn't work so I tried this one again and yep this is the one!the other one was also for putting on smoothies so that's what I do.

OMG!! Just absolutely loving what this duos for my natural hair! ! Deelicious! Product was of very good quality and size for price! I use it in homemade hair and butter oils.. OMG..I mixed some with coconut oil and it smelled like tropics! (Lol) . I'd definitely purchase this again from this company. .just sorry it took me so long to find out about this hidden gem! Arrived as ordered.
