In the description it says “material is aluminum” and the price tells that it’s something more expensive than a Walmart hula hoop. Well it is made fully from thick plastic, there is nothing aluminum in it. The price is 10x more than it should be! Want refund.

I had been trying to find a decent hula hoop for my granddaughter in stores for awhile with no luck. They are all so cheap and light weight, she couldn't hula hoop. We received our hula hoop from this company yesterday. Within 5 minutes she was hula hooping like a pro! We are very happy!

I hate exercise, as a rule, but I have to admit this thing is the kind of workout you can do while watching videos, talking on the phone, or cranking it up while listening to something with a beat. It actually does give you a nice mid-body and thigh workout. The taping is great - very “grippy.” But the tradeoff for grippy tape is that you must use the hoop while standing on a soft surface - the tape will tear if you scuff the hoop on asphalt or concrete. Some reviewers thought the tape was poor quality. Actually, the tape is great - it keeps the hoop from slipping off of you. Just respect it and you’ll be hooping away in no time. Is it pricey? I see it this way: it would have taken way more than $40 worth of my time and patience to double tape it myself! So, yeah, I think the price is fair.

Runs big

After purchasing 3 hula hoops on amazon ranging from $12-25, finally found this one that works like a magic. Big enough and not too heavy or light for a 7 yo. I would say it’s a little pricy but worth it when the child can hula. It came in twisted in a double hoop, I forced it open and the connecting part snapped, thank god I didn’t break it. The better way is probably opening the connecting part first.
