Good product, does not overheat, does not lag and my projecter is not smart but with this stick it makes it smart so it does not have any problems.

I bought this because I already have two AndroidTV devices, and I wanted a third for a spare "dumb" TV that didn't get used very much. I didn't need to spend the extra money on 4K, so this one seemed to be the best bang for the buck. No, it's certainly not as fast as my Nvidia Shield, but it doesn't need to be.However, I'm taking away one star because it did not fit into any of the HDMI ports on the TV because of the way the way the TV's ports were positioned. Other brands of these types of sticks come with a short HDMI extension cable to solve this problem, but this one did not. Fortunately, I had a spare cable already, so I was OK.

I read the reviews but decided to take a chance & buy this thing. Most of the reviews are SPOT On! Atleast mines survived a full week before getting stuck in boot loop mode. Maybe be it's because it was running hot-- from keeping it plugged in for more than 24 hours (with the TV actually turned off) I'm not sure. So now, I unplug my Amazon fire stick when not in use. I did that for this Xiaomi crap for the first 4 days I had it. It was only the day BEFORE this review I decided to keep it plugged in because I was already pissed off with the performance of this thing.A waste of $40.00 + dollars.Now.....I'm gonna buy another Amazon 4k max & just hope another pushed update doesn't brick that one like the last update did to my gen1 firestick!!!! Xiaomi mi is COMPLETE GARBAGE!!

Great product, I did an upgrade for a Sony TV. It works great, I sync with my Google account, basically really easy to config. In addition, this came with a micro USB charger, which i recommend to use. Also came with a HDMI extension. 100% recommended. The remote control is pretty much the same as a Samsung Smart TV remote control, wich is great, I hate controls with a lot of buttons ...useless buttons.Netflix, Prime and Disney+

It’s ok. The only things I don’t like is the power button won’t turn the tv on like the amazon fire stick and there is no volume button.
