whether they intend for this to work like a pocket net (where there's a slim pocket of ...
Installation of this product is still somewhat of a mystery to me, despite the fact that I've already done what I think is a "fair" job of installing it. There are, for my tastes, a few too many hooks, and the concept is still a little unclear to me, whether they intend for this to work like a pocket net (where there's a slim pocket of space between the netting to place your items) or whether this is supposed to be sort of ... held aloft, like a hammock, I suppose, in my trunk! I'm trying to use it like the first, right now, but I haven't had the chance to try groceries or 2 liters in it, yet, so my impression on that one might change. It sure would be nice if some instructions were included. ;)Otherwise, wow. The gauge of the netting was GOOD and STRONG. Like, in bold! I'm really hoping it'll do the job for which it was intended. I'm tentative that it's even going to work, but maybe after a video or something, I'll feel more comfortable with it! Oh, one other thing... this is SUPPPERRR big. My trunk is a big one (I have a Hyundai Genesis Grand Touring), but I think had it been just a tiny bit smaller, it would have fit better.EDIT: Hi Cargo Net Goers! It has been a week and I have discovered exactly how I want to use this product! I love it so much, it actually GAINED a star (going from a 4 to a 5)! The number of hooks I complained about, are actually super useful. Remember how I was questioning whether to use it as a pocket or a hammock? The design allows for BOTH. For every way you could possibly want to use it! =DD I'm so glad for it! It has been working exactly as I need it to! =D Get this product if you need one for your trunk! <3

for the price there's nothing better!
can't beat it! fits the 6ft bed on my tacoma with room to spare, even with stuff as high as the roof. when not in use it rolls up into something in between a softball and a football, so it can be stored anywhere. sometimes it's a pain to untangle it, but that's just because it's a net with a bunch of hooks - and since the hooks can be completely removed, that makes untangling it much easier. i leave one side attached to my truck bed's side utility rail all the time so i don't have to untangle it often, if at all. the 2005+ Toyota Tacoma has channels/rails along the sides and front of the inside of the bed where you can attach hooks and other accessories. While loading the truck, i drape it over the outside, then sling it up over the cargo and quickly attach to the other bed rail. this net has plenty of stretch and keeps things from shifting.i did almost lose a kid's rolled-up sleeping bag through one of the holes, but i saw it popping up in my mirror, so i was able to pull over and rearrange stuff so that it was under a larger sleeping bag, and made the other 40 miles home on the highway without a problem.when this wears out or if i lose too many of the (easily removable) hooks, i have no problems spending another ~10 bucks on one, especially when it includes prime shipping.

Hooks suck, net is quality
Purchased to keep stuff in the bed of my truck on our camping trip. My main goal was to have something over the bed that would keep things from flying out of the back if the wind caught it just right or if we hit a bump too hard, to keep things from moving around too much, and to be in compliance with state law (I remember somewhere reading that in California any load is supposed to be covered with a tarp or cargo net to prevent things escaping). I also was hoping it would act as a theft deterrent if we stopped for gas or something. While I don't think this would have held things in place in an accident, it did the trick. I would heed the advice of others that the plastic hooks are garbage, and to replace them with metal ones. The net itself is of good quality. I have a Ranger with a 6' bed, and just putting this on the empty bed was enough to mangle and twist up the hooks. It won't really hold much of a load if you were to actually stress these. However, they are easy to remove so if you can replace with metal ones then you'd have a really good setup that would actually be able to contain a decent amount of weight.

this was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for
$12.99 for this net... this was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. I reviewed and looked at many other nets for 5x more money so I was nervous about this one.Well this one did a great job. We went on a 2400 mile road trip with bikes, camping gear, a grill, two coolers and multiple other items in the back we wanted to keep secure. After placing a cheap little tarp over it, stretching this net on top and finalizing it with the bungee straps, our load was very secure. We had to wrap and unwrap it multiple times through Meteor Crater, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley (for camping), Mesa Verde, Durango, Roswell then final home to Dallas, and we did not have any tarp shredding, items stolen or anything loose. I cannot believe how inexpensive this net was for the safety and peace it gave me. I would pay $12.99 again and again for that. This net did it's job wonderfully.

The net works fine when I load my truck full of cardboard boxes ...
Folks considering this product need to understand that this is for light duty use only. As the price should signal to you, this is a cheap product that is absolutely not meant for securing heavy loads. The net works fine when I load my truck full of cardboard boxes for recycling but it got thrashed quickly when holding down debris, drywall, wood, etc. from a room demo before it was remodeled. The hooks are light to medium weight plastic and can take only a few pounds of pressure before visible bending. The net itself does not hold up well to weather. I live in the Pacific northwest where it rains a lot, which weakens the net. Some strands of the net have ripped - whether from the weather or from stretching them too much, I can't say - but I think they ripped prematurely. The positive is the price, which in theory allows me to cycle through a few of these as needed. However, I would prefer to find a much stronger product with metal hooks and weatherproof netting that lasts longer, even if considerably more expense.PROs: stylish, easy to use, convenient for light duty, priceCONs: not rugged, cheap hooks, absolutely not for heavy duty or regular medium duty
