Works so good

It works, for a small fraction of the Audi OEM price. I have a 2011 Audi A6 Avant Prestige 3.0 Quattro. In their infinite wisdom, Audi neglected to provide a AUX input in a car that retailed at $60K new. This gadget is literally plug and play, instantly providing a AUX option on the media menu, allowing me to listen to prerecorded music and streaming internet radio through my iPhone 6 Plus. I can't skip songs or change channels on the MMI/AMI screen, but that's a small matter. It can still be done directly on the iPhone screen, observing normal driver safety awareness. The cable is long enough to locate my iPhone virtually anywhere within my reach in the cabin. My Audi-iPhone telephone link operates normally. Five stars because it does what it's supposed to do. It's too bad the cable doesn't include a branch cable to charge the phone as well. As it is, I must use a separate USB plug and cable to maintain a charge.

I was very disappointed to discover that the 2015 audi q5 I got as a present does it use Bluetooth for music. I ordered this product after seeing some options and making sure this aux cord was compatible with my car. It works perfectly! The audits of the sound is good. The one thing I’m worried about is that the glove compartment was not designed to let a cable out, so if I want my phone outside of the glove compartment the cable will have to suffer. We’ll see with time if the pressure won’t damage the cable.

Worked for one day. It broke apart as I tried unplugging to plug it back in to see if it would reconnect. Had to use pliers to pull it out.

High quality cable for a fraction of the price Audi wants charge. You can play music from your phone and hear you Google navigation through the car radio, but you must control it from your phone. Cable is long enough to reach all occupants. Volume is lower than your normal radio volume, so if you want to answer your phone or switch back to the car radio make sure to lower the volume first. I learned the hard way.

Fits my 2009 Audi A4 Avant (B8 with MMI 2), The plastic around the jack is thick and the jack needs to be fully seated (thankfully I can enlarge the hole in my phone case to fit better). The sound quality is great, albeit I need to crank the volume on my phone, and a bit higher than usual on the radio. This is a common issue with older systems all around though back in the day so I am not surprised. I remember needing to do the same with AUX adapter on the market back when we didn't have CD players standard in vehicles... I will let myself out before I age myself any further.

I just received this in the mail. If over time my opinion changes I will update this review. So far this MMI cable is exactly what I needed. It works very well on my 2012 Audi A4 Quattro S line. It beats the $70.00 dollar price tag at the dealership. It does the job wonderfully and the longer cable allows for movies on phones/tablets and computers to be heard on the audio system in my car, during long trips this is a wonderful treat for my children. For me it allows my favorite playlists to be heard at my leasure. A great price for a product that emulates the factory accessory at a better price and is more user friendly.

This is the fourth MDI cord I've tried for my VW Eos that had an outdated media input. The first three all worked as an aux cord, however it would constantly cycle through charging on and off because the lightning connection was weak. While this isn't a connection for iPhone, it works with my adapter and the sound quality is excellent. I wish it acted like a charger, but being aux-only is MUCH preferred to the ones that kept my phone beeping and buzzing the entire drive because they tried to charge but couldn't.

This cord fixed the one thing I hated about this car lol can finally play my own playlists from my iPhone, have to use the adapter as my iPhone doesn’t have a headphone Jack but sound quality is great, bass is great, no feedback or static. 5 stars from me for now I just got it so if anything changes I will update. Oh and hook up was super simple just plugged it in and then hit media on my controls and it was already on it I didn’t have to do anything extra just plug in and go to media then press play boom music lol don’t have to be technically inclined at all, there’s no silly options you had to go in and change or anything just plug and play basically. In my model anyways other cars may be different I have a 2011 Audi A4
