WizKids Marvel HeroClix Galactus Devourer of Worlds Premium Colossal Figure

This is the perfect statue/figure for any fan of Galactus. At $100 or less, this is also the most affordable Galactus you're likely to find too. I've been a fan of Galactus my whole life, and this is the first Galactus I've actually bought. They're usually far more expensive than what I could justify spending money on, or they just look to "toy-like." This one though is perfectly priced for the size, and a steal for the equally matched detail of the more expensive versions. Not to mention it's only a couple inches smaller than most other Galactus statues (this one is about 14-15inches).I was worried that this figure would be a bit disappointing in person as it's actually a game piece (Heroclix) which I had never heard of. I took the chance anyway, as I figured the $80 it costed at the time was worth it to me to not stress over buying or not. I don't regret it at all. In fact, I would gladly have paid $100-150 at the time and been just as pleased.Now I have recently bought some higher quality statues (the Marvel Select Premier Thanos statue for example), and there are some differences in quality between this figure and a true statue piece.A. The weight of Galactus isn't as heavy (this could be a pro or con depending on what you want)B. The feel is more plastic feeling (though this is technically not a statue, but a game piece)C. The size at 14-15inch isn't as much as I wish they had gone. I wish they had offered a 24inch option at an additional cost of even $50-100. Though even at it's current size it is still very impressive, and would look good with figures up to about 8-10inches in my opinion.If you're a harcore collector who's flipping pieces for a profit, then this might not be for you. You may want to drop the $300-800 on something bigger. If you're like me though, and just want a Galactus for your personal collection...you can't go wrong with this piece.What I really like about this piece:A. It's cheap enough that you could get this for a younger collector who may not be mature enough to collect more expensive pieces. While still being impressive enough that a true Galactus fan will love this piece, and not be disappointed.(If you don't like this pieces then you probably thought you were going to be getting a true Premium style statue at 14-15inches for around $100, or maybe you thought the materials for this price would be more polystone and resin instead of pvc/plastic)B. It's a very dynamic statue. I've noticed that a lot of the Galactus pieces typically seam to have that museum pose, and look a little dull in my opinion.C. You can change the heads on this piece. I like the option to be able to change the head sculpt. Though I personally wish the other sculpt was just a different expression. Instead it's Galactus without the helmet, and that's just not Galactus to me lol. Though the option is there if you want. It's also very easy to switch the heads...they simply key in and stick with magnet I believe. I can't believe anyone would have issues with it.D. The packaging was great.What I didn't like about the piece:A. I do wish they had a 24inch or larger version for an upgraded price. Not a big deal, but would have been great if they did.B. Would have been great if it was heavier. Maybe using polystone for the body, and resin for the cosmic powers. Though for the price I'm not complaining.C. Would have been nice to have a different arm sculpt pose option. Again, for the price I'm not complaining though.D. My biggest issue with it is that it didn't come with a smaller scaled Silver Surfer to show off Galactus' size better. It wouldn't have been that hard to make something in the 3-4 inch range that keyed into him. However, not really a complaint...just something I wish they had done. Would have preferred that option even over the extra head option.

I've been looking for a Galactus figure for ages, and this is by far the best for the price I've found. The larger figures are way more expensive. But for the money with this one, it is well worth it. Looks amazing and is quite large. Not as big as I want, but at 13= inches it is a great addition to any collection.

The Marvel HeroClix Galactus Devourer of Worlds Premium Colossal Figure is an absolute MUST for any Marvel fan! Standing at a towering 13 inches tall, this figure is truly colossal and sure to make a statement on any shelf. The detailing is incredible and the addition of multiple heads to switch out for different poses is a nice touch. The only con is that the figure doesn't have a lot of dynamic posing options, but the sheer size and impressive design more than make up for it. Overall, this is a fantastic collectible and a must-have for any Marvel enthusiast.

Great figure for the money nice size but remember this is a statue for a game other then that figure for a collection.

I own quite a few marvel statues and the quality and detail are second to none. I can't believe that this is part of a board game. This Galactus statue also goes with a separate Fantastic 4 set of figures. I bought both and couldn't be happier. I've seen several Galactus statues over the years but for the price this one is the best!
