Accurate and Fast, A Must-Have for Every Kitchen
I’ve been using this digital meat thermometer for a few weeks, and it’s become an essential tool in my kitchen. It’s incredibly easy to use—just insert the probe, and within seconds, you get an accurate reading. The digital display is clear, even in low light, and the temperature updates quickly, which is great for when I’m cooking meats at different levels of doneness. The build quality is solid, and it’s comfortable to hold. It’s also easy to clean, which is important when working with raw meats. The only small downside is that it could be a bit more compact, but that’s a minor issue for how well it performs. Overall, this thermometer takes the guesswork out of cooking meat, ensuring perfect results every time. Whether you’re grilling, roasting, or pan-frying, this tool is a game changer.

Small size but easy to read temps
I bought this to confirm my truck heater temperature coming out the vents. Had an older analog gauge that only went up to 125 and the needle was past that. I was guessing 135. This confirmed it was 142, close to the coolant intake hose temp of 148.Now it's back in my kitchen as may be needed.Fells solid. It's small, but still easy to read the temps. Has a F/C selection switch. Constant reading until you turn it off.It did it's job at a very reasonable price.Recommend

Bad quality
Bad quality, the whole inside of it is filled with hot glue gun glue and it doesn’t even turn on, I tried a different battery and everything, don’t waste your time with it. The sheath barely even fits for it either, it’ll just wiggle out of the sheath over a short period of time

Weak construction but still accurate and usable.
Works quite well but quality manufacture is in decline. Weaker construction as compared to previous models.

Good Thermometer for Basic Home Cook
I have used this to take temps for water for yeast (110F), bread, hamburgers, chicken abd veggie casserole. Seems to be accurate. Well pleased!

Works well, lasts for a long time
I've now owned this for 7 years, I still use it all the time -- amazing value! In all that time I've only had to change the batteries 3 times (so my worries about its power switch arrangement were unfounded.)The one slight issue I've experienced was accidentally switching it from Fahrenheit to Celsius without noticing. I absolutely desiccated a turkey trying to get its temp up to 170 C (which I don't think is possible, short of setting it on fire.) If you use Celsius mode this mistake is impossible, the Celsius value at which you expect meat to be fully cooked, is barely room temperature in Fahrenheit. But if you're used to Fahrenheit, accidentally switching modes but failing to notice easily lead you to badly over-cooking your meat. (Really it's hard to call this a problem with the device, more of a stupid user trick.)-----------------------------------------------------original review-----------------------------------------------------This thermometer works well, it reads fairly quickly, and it has given me no reason to question it's accuracy. But for whatever reason, in a world of electronic devices with momentary on switches and time-out features, this one has a single-throw lever switch. On is on, and off is off, with no embedded idle-detect program in between. To compound this it's fairly easy to turn it on accidentally, however, in its defense, the first battery is still going strong, despite my having inadvertently left it powered-on in a drawer for days on end.I should also note that it came with an extra battery, so at this time the power arrangement is a non-issue for me... it's just a little different than many things of this nature.Addendum: It's now 4 1/2 years later, I use this all the time, I've had to buy batteries for it once. Still very pleased.
