Easy to grow
I loved the little humps of this blue grass. Wanted my own but wasn't going to spend 8 bucks a plant. Threw these in the ground as a what if. They grew and like crazy. Nothing happened besides a few hairs all last summer but in March of this year they took off and I had seed heads before June. Just some cute little mounds of blue. well worth it

Great germination rate, however..
I used a seed starting mix, watered daily and these germinated within ten days. I haven't put them outside yet, but they've been doing great indoors for about 4 weeks. Updated 5/5/17, none of these worked out for me when I transplanted outside. I ended up buying blue fescue plants at the store for cheaper than these seeds. Waste of money and time.

Very fast germination, so far, so good!
I planted a flat of these Fescue seeds last Sunday, and as of yesterday (6 days), they had all sprouted. I read a lot of reviews saying the seeds did not germinate, and I can only guess that they either received problematic seeds or did not have optimum propagation techniques. I always start my seeds in pods in a little plastic greenhouse set up, on a heating mat. I would have given these seeds 5 stars, but I do not yet know how the Blue Fescue will be as a perennial here in Zone 5.... but so far, so good!

They Grew
I've had nothing but positive experiences with Outsidepride products. I have left another product review regarding my experience - including pictures - of growing Irish Moss from seed. I've also had tremendous success with their Marigold and Geranium seeds. In this case (Blue Fescue), I was once again troubled by the negative reviews that I also saw before I purchased the moss seeds. But recalling how successful my attempt at growing the moss was, I decided that it was worth the risk.I followed the directions... somewhat. I doubled the amount of seeds I placed in each hole. I placed them in trays. One group of 5 pods received 8 hours of sunlight and near-daily moisture (Group A). The other 5 pods were positioned in such a way so as to receive maybe 6 hours of sunlight and the same amount of moisture (Group B). The last group of 5 pods received 6 hours of light, and only moisture when it rained every several days (Group C). The picture below is from Group B with similar results in Group A. Group C has had 0% germination. Germination time was about 14 days.I will update as it matures.Zone 7a, northern Utah.

Didn't grow
We grow all our plants from seed, with success. Out of all the seeds, 2 grew. Very disappointed.
