Gunnar Crystalline Haus Gaming Eyewear - Onyx/Crystalline

Wear & fit:Wearing these glasses out of the box felt weird. It's tight, like everybody here mentions, but I know it will loosen eventually. However, it keeps sliding forward constantly! Although, I think it will lessen once it's not as tight. Maybe I'll figure out a way to loosen the tightness of the frame. Also, it does stick out of the back of the ear. So be wary if you have short hair, it shows. Fortunately, I can hide it in my hair.Lens:It's amazing. I didn't realize that the computer screen can look any better - but it just did. Even retina screens looks amazing! No more glare, my eyes aren't as tired, and colors seems much clearer. Usually bright screen with mostly white background makes me dizzy, sometimes to a point where I have to look away for a few minutes. With these glasses, it's no longer the case.There is a slight tint and focus. Remember, this is computer glasses. They're not made to walk around in, or even write with! They're made for computer use. I use it for video editing and programming (8-10 hours of straight editing and programming can put your eyes in quite a strain). Colors are vibrant, not too much difference with the slight reddish tint. It's definitely comfortable on the eyes, but I get tired on the nose bridge and temple -- maybe just not used to wearing glasses?Biggest con:It smudges so easily. And when it smudges, it's pretty much useless to wear. Invest in microfiber cloths to wipe your glasses with. I tried wiping it with some lens cloth that I have for my sunglasses, and it doesn't work. It just spreads the oil around.Conclusion:Overall, I will continue to wear these and probably try and modify the tightness a bit. I hope that Gunner will try and modify their frame designs more!

Okay, I've been using gunnar glasses for a while, and I ordered this one as a replacement of the one that I'm using (Gunnar Optiks G0005-C00103 SheaDog). The old one is good and still in good shape, but the only thing that made me order the HAU-00103 is that it has a bigger lenses, which means it'll cover more visual spots. The G0005-C00103 (the old one) it has a medium lenses, half the size of this one, which is sometime give me a headache because I need to adjust it to my eye so I can have a better view, while the new one covers that issue, so you can only focus on design and you won't have a problem adjusting it every time you move your head!.Both models are the same, except this one ( HAU-00103) has a better shape and bigger lenses.Regards all that, the old one I ordered two years ago, came with a sealed box and the glasses case was included. HOWEVER, this one came with OPENED BOX, and has NO glasses case at all. When I opened the box, I saw some fingerprints on the glasses and the glasses frame. I checked the glasses and it seems okay, nothing broken and good to wear, so I just cleaned it and tried it and it has the same visual as the old one I have.IF I knew, I probably bought a used one, and save a couple of bucks, rather than paying the price of new on an OPENED BOX that even didn't have a case for it !

Ok guys, so I received my pair of Gunnar Optiks Haus glasses around 5 weeks ago. My job requires me to stare at computer screens all day until my eyes feel like they've been rubbed with sandpaper. So naturally I decided that I should protect them in some way. I went with the clear crystaline lenses due to the fact that I didnt want to be walking around the office with yellow tinted glasses. Guess what?... They're awesome. The quality of the build and materials together make it even that more satisfying. The only downside to these glasses, at least for me, is how easy it is to smudge the lenses. I mean, I am constanly having to wipe these bad boy's. Don't let this sway you if you're considering getting a pair for yourself. Do yourself a favor and try them out. Your eyes will feel the difference after a day or so. Also, they're great for reading articles on my phone in the dark.

I’ve had these since 2016. I tried two other Gunnar models before, but they broke easily around where the sides meet the frame - I guess I was rough on them, because I’ve never worn glasses.But this model, Haus, has some spring/give on the sides. I’m only getting a new pair because my old ones are finally looking old - but they are still structurally sound.Also! I have had three migraines - they each put me out of commission for two days. I tried these glasses right after I had the last two close together, and I haven’t had another since. Knock on wood, but it’s almost three years. It’s not a scientific study, of course, but I’m not looking a gift horse in the mouth.Also, definitely prefer the clear ones - I do a lot of design work, so I need to be able to see colors clearly. So, the yellow tinted ones are a no-go.

These are great glasses. They do have a slight magnification so I can't watch tv with them. I use them mostly for working on my laptop. I do notice a difference when I use them. They create less eye strain. Sometimes the slight magnification gets to me though. They do get dirty really easy like everyone says and its a bit harder to clean them because they seem to smear easily when you clean them I guess I just need a specific cloth just for them. I really like the clear lenses. I really wish there were more options out there with the clear computer glass option. I use F.lux on my computer so the tinted lenses would be way overboard.

These glasses are tiny, I mean tiny!!! I give it only three stars cause I couldn't even try them on the computer. Im an adult male and these look like glasses I took from my 8 year old nephew...super disappointed as I was really looking forward to finally owning a pair. As soon as I put them on the the arm of the glasses flared out almost maxing out the hinge. The hinge was actually made to flare out a lot which makes me think they are small on purpose...either way these do not work well for an adult male, were even small on my wife's head...bummed and still looking...

Although Gunnar has been around for a while now, I only looked into them recently after my eyes were beginning to feel tired from lengthy gaming sessions and staring at a computer monitor all day at work. I'm familiar with tinted professional gaming glasses but I wanted a more natural-looking pair of glasses for everyday gaming and work. I wanted something that looked like prescription/reading glasses that didn't stand out and Gunnar's "crystalline" line of glasses are perfect. Overall, these are very nice glasses. The build quality is much higher than I expected and although they are light in weight, they do feel very solid. The frame is sturdy as are the spring hinges. The lenses are indeed clear but at an angle, you can see a very faint green tint (which is the special anti-glare coating) but when wearing these glasses, you don't see the tint.The biggest downside to these glasses is that it is not ideal for people with large faces. These glasses are more suited for people with thin or petit faces. I have a medium-sized face and these glasses just barely fit on my face. The main problem with these glasses is that the spring hinges squeeze against the sides of my head and "push" the glasses forward so they don't sit on the bridge of my nose. There is about half a centimeter of space between my nose and these glasses so to correct this, I purchased adhesive silicone eyeglass nose pads that stick to the glasses and this adds a bit of cushion between my nose and these glasses. These glasses now fit much better on my face but it's still not perfect.Another downside is that these glasses smudge very easily. In fact, the lenses smudge too easily and are a pain to clean. Even with lens cleaners and premium eyeglass cloths, I find it hard to clean the lenses as they always have streaks or a cloudy or spotty appearance after you clean them. I believe it's the anti-glare coating that they put on the lenses that make even the tiniest speck or smudge appear more visibly. It's not impossible removing these blemishes but to do so, you have to be very thorough when cleaning them.Overall, these glasses really do help reduce eye strain so if you're a gamer or stare at a computer monitor all day long at work, you should invest in a pair. For the price, design and functionality of these glasses, I am satisfied with the purchase. I paid $100 for these glasses which is about right. If these glasses were priced any higher, I wouldn't buy them.I would also like to point out that Gunnars offers these glasses with amber lenses for people wanting a higher level of eye relief as the amber lenses block out more blue light. The amber variant is sometimes priced lower than the crystalline version so if budget is more important than lens colour to you, you may want to consider the amber version. Eventually, I may purchase a different pair of crystalline Gunnars just so I can have a spare pair for the office.Pros:- Professional and stylish look- Good quality (compared to other gaming/PC glasses)- Effective at reducing screen glare and eye strain- Micro-fiber pouch included which I guess is better than nothing (both a pro and con)Cons:- Not designed to fit with all face sizes- Smudges easily- No hard case included (a hard case would have been better than the micro-fiber pouch)

Excelentes lentes para proteger la vista de las computadoras. Recomiendo muchisimo para evitar fatiga despues de utilizar mucho las computadoras o pantallas
