Sea Salt & Vinegar Peanuts (8 ct Pack, 6 oz Canisters)

These nuts are good. Been looking for them at local stores for weeks now after I first heard of them. Can't find locally. Thought the price at Amazon was high but didn't realized that I was getting 8 little cans. They came today. Will make a good extra little gift to put in 3 gift bags which we have ready for family & a friend. I don't like plain peanuts that well for a snack, but these are good, and I'm eating some now. I like the flavor. My husband eats Spanish Peanuts frequently. He likes caramel, so he will probably like these peanuts. Anyway, if you like peanuts & caramel, you will probably like these too.

I have ordered these several times and had no problems. The price is good and the peanuts taste good. But the last order I got two boxes and in each box there was one can in each box that only had a handful of peanuts. Not sure how this happened because you can pick up and shake the cans and tell that it wasn't full.

I wanted a simple snack. A light crunch. A casual handful of peanuts to make me feel alive on a Wednesday afternoon. What I got instead was an interdimensional spice blast that tasted like a BBQ grill committed a crime. I opened the bag and was immediately greeted by an aroma that can only be described as: “If a chipotle pepper got into a fistfight with a smoke machine backstage at a Nickelback concert.” The first peanut hit my tongue like a flamethrower dipped in paprika, followed by a smoky aftertaste so artificial it made me question my relationship with reality. It’s as if Planters hired a committee of mad scientists and said: “Give us the flavor profile of a campfire that hates you.” The heat level is not “chipotle.” It is emotional damage disguised as a snack. Halfway through the bag I realized these peanuts were coated so aggressively that if I breathed out too hard, a fine red dust clouded the air like I was signaling a volcanic eruption to the gods. My coworker walked by, inhaled one whiff, and asked if the office was on fire. Even my dog looked at me with concern. MY DOG. The only upside? If you spill any, congratulations — you now own Chernobyl-flavored confetti that will stain your countertop until the heat death of the universe. BOTTOM LINE: These peanuts are perfect if you: want to cough up paprika for 3–5 business days hate your taste buds enjoy spicy chaos want to season your entire living room accidentally If you want actual food? Run. If you want an experience you’ll remember forever and not necessarily in a good way? Buy two packs.

Addicting

I’m giving 3 stars only for the fact the peanuts are fresh and crunchy. These are not hot. Not even warm. Minimal smoke taste in seasoning. No chipotle flavor.
