very good yarn a bit delicate
i love working this yarn! it's very soft and the colors are very rich. it is true that it will break if you apply direct pressure or you pull directly but it was not an issue until i read the reviews. i think it's because my crocheting is very relaxed in general and i have to use smaller hooks than other people cause my stitches tend to be loose. still i used a 3 mm hook and i was really happy both while crocheting and about the results. bought another 6 skeins. :)

Better than the reviews
Although this yarn is a fingerling weight and I needed DK, I bought it and I crocheted with two strands. It was a pleasure to works with. It is smooth and well made yarn. I got it to make a hat for my daughter but I think I will buy more and make a sweater. The finished product feels fabulous against the skin. There was a slight odor but after hand washing the garment the smell is gone. Some reviews complained about the yarn coming apart but I didn’t have the problem.

Soft, but thin
Pros:•soft•good price for a wool blend•deep, rich, gorgeous colorCons:•much thinner than expected. Worked out okay since I used it for a lacey shawl, but I expected it to be thicker. This would probably be best suited for socks.•some knots throughout and tore a couple times in places that were thinner. Annoying and, while easy enough to hide in a sweater, difficult to hide in a lacework shawl.

Soft but cheap material. Breaks apart too easy!
I was really excited to get this new soft yarn to make my first pair of socks as a Christmas gift for myself however, no matter how nice and soft it is it’s a very disappointing/cheap ball of yarn and not worth the buy! The yarn is more like thread considering how weak and small the material is. If you make a mistake forget about undoing your stitches, because if you try to unravel your work the thread just breaks apart. I’ve already had to restart my project countless times because the thread keeps breaking off from my work. And once it breaks off it’s almost impossible to retie the broken thread back into the working yarn as it just keeps breaking off bit by bit. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the product and am here to warn you to save your money and buy something else so you won’t be disappointed either! I’m giving up on the yarn and my project and just throwing it in the trash. It’s not worth the effort of trying to salvage at this point. Buy from another company!

Delicate Yarn
The media could not be loaded. The yarn is fingering weight and extremely delicate. It breaks easily and I would not consider it easy to use with stranded color work. I am using it with a variegated yarn in stripes.I do like the texture and softness of the fabric this yarn creates. I am currently making a raglan sweater with it. I think it’s good yarn for the cost. As long as there is not a lot of tension placed on the yarn with knitting it holds up well. I found I would break it with frogging.

Very happy with it
I bought the color "ginger" to knit some tiny pumpkins and it worked out great. The pattern is Cute little pumpkin patch by Norman Schwarze. It's a nice desaturated orange, closer to what a real pumpkin would look like than any sort of neon, it's not at all garish. The weight is very light. Compared to other yarns I have, it's closest to one that's labeled sock weight. It's significantly thicker than my lace weight, but still very fine.I used size 1 knitting needles and it worked out well. if you were knitting something other than a plush you could probably use another size, but check your gague first of course.
