Southern Ag Parafine Horticultural Oil, 16 Ounces (1 Pint)

This is a refined mineral oil that is easy to mix and apply. I like using Southern Ag products. Has been effective for treating scale whereas the Southern Ag Neem not so much. It also does a good job of cleaning sticky, dirty foliage.

A good item at a great price. My peach trees love it and it hasn't damaged my tree in any way. Just make sure to pay attention at the little size. I knew what I was order and I knew what to expect but the bottle looks a lot larger in the photo vs in person. The instruction book on the back gives a very detailed list of mixing ratio for many different plants and trees.

I used this on my king sagol palms that had scale insects that appeared to be a white coating on stems and fronds, also had mealy bugs on fronds. Killed them all. Used it a second time 2 weeks later to be sure and its been 2 months since and palms are beginning to grow healthy and thrive now.

Easy to mix and apply. Doesn't smell bad. Doesn't leave chemical poison to hurt all other creatures. Just smothers the bugs you spray it on. For me, that's mealy bugs & aphids mostly.

It’s easy to mix and did seem to stop leaf eaters on my gardenias leaves. Time will tell more.
