I don’t think my teeth have ever felt this clean
Genuinely starting to wonder if my teeth have been cleaned properly for now but super happy with this toothbrush either way. The battery life lasts for ages, I like how it looks aesthetically, I love the travel case it came with which has been super useful and then there’s the toothbrush itself. It gives such a deep clean and the coloured lights which indicate when pressure is too little or too much is so helpful as I have receding gums from brushing my teeth too hard. I bought this last year on prime day so was great value for money and I’m really pleased with how it’s working for me. The heads were quite expensive but I only need to replace mine now after 9 months so the durability is great!

The modes and instructions are a bit confusing.....
The toothbrush is very high quality and does a great job at cleaning teeth. Where it falls down, in my eyes anyway, is in the instruction pamphlet. I believe it's intended to cater for international users, regardless of language, and for all different versions of IO toothbrushes. The main pamphlet has some very confusing diagrams, as well as some fairly obvious ones; such as to look at the side of the packaging to see what modes are available in the Series 3. Unfortunately, there is nothing at all on the side of the packaging, so I looked elsewhere. A card is included specifically for the IO Series 3 which in one diagram shows three modes (correct) and below shows under a heading "Customize", four modes. If there is the ability to customize it, I haven't found it.When started up, there is no indication of which mode the toothbrush is in, you have to gauge the sound. There is nothing in the instructions to say what happens to the mode when you switch off - does it revert to mode 1, or does it start up in the mode you were using when you switched it off? There were different answers in various sites online. So, I contacted Oral B and they confirmed that the last mode used is the mode selected when starting up again.Beware if you see that the toothbrush can be reset by pressing the power button for 10 seconds - it just goes off and cannot be switched on again unless you place it back in the charger! I was informed that reset should not be used and would never be required. Also that it is not a travel lock, the series 3 does not have one. Furthermore, you may see online that it can connect to the Oral B app - it can't as it hasn't got Bluetooth, but that is most certainly not a negative for me.Having said all that, the toothbrush works extremely well. I have delicate gums so used mode 2 (gentle) and it cleaned my teeth really well, the feeling that I get after a visit to the hygienist. It is far more thorough than a manual brush, and was very kind to my gums. To be fair, I soon got to recognise which mode was which, but it would help enormously if there was some form of indication on the brush as to which mode was in use. This was explained to me that not every toothbrush in their range can have the same facilities, otherwise there would be no price range - and I get that. It needn't be fancy, just a graphic would do. But, once used to the brush, such things wouldn't be an issue.All-in-all, this is a great toothbrush and I got it at a great price from Amazon (way below the RRP), so I will forgive Oral B for the poor instructions enclosed and just enjoy having very clean teeth. Highly recommended.

IT'S HUGE But ...
...it's a really good toothbrush!First thing that strikes you when opening the box is the size of the toothbrush handle - presumably this is to house a powerful motor and larger battery. The power of the motor delivers exceptional cleaning and the battery life is great - 9 to 14 days. The handle size works well and is very comfortable to use - it might be big - get over it, it is comfortable when in use.Now the bad news - 5 brushing modes, totally confusing because there is no indicator of the mode selected. Do I need 5 modes - no, brush and another gentle mode would suffice. Bluetooth connection to smart phone app - totally useless who wants to be messing around with a smartphone when brushing your teeth! As for the functionality of the app bewildering useless. Conclusion - great brushing action, but over complicated with excessive modes. Comfortable handle despite the size and fantastic battery life. Smartphone app and Bluetooth connectivity useless.

Excellent Brush
I bought this to replace my 5 year old Oral B brush that had a failing battery. I was not expecting anything other than a same clean but i was wrong. The iO3 gives an impeccable clean, it is like you have been to the dentist, your teeth feel clean and smooth for hours after brushing. The brush head moves much less but with a higher oscillation and the toothbrush is much quieter than my previous one, it is all positive stuff. The brush has 3 modes and always starts up in mode 1 and you simply press for mode 2 and press again for mode 3. The brush also indicates the pressure you are applying, white is no pressure, green is the correct pressure and red is too much pressure.lastly the brush is supplied with a charger (but i just used my old one) which has a 2 pin shaving point plug, the only safe electrical point you can install in a bathroom so this makes perfect sense, should you wish to charge it elsewhere you're going to need a shaving adapter.

OMG who knew fancy toothbrushes were worth the price?!
OMG I've only had this a day but I am shocked how much of a difference it makes having a fancy toothbrush compared to a normal electric one. Incredible! My teeth feel so smooth and shiny I can't stop licking them!!! I bought it half price in a sale but quite frankly it's great value at full price considering it feels like I've been to a dental hygienist every time I brush my teeth.

Great toothbrush
Very good, does the job very well. Battery lasts very well and travel case is appreciated & sturdy. Brushes well and has all sorts of different heads of your aims. No issues with gums when brushing, the pressure sensor helps guide you if you're in the habit of brushing too hard.

Excellent toothbrush. Good value for money
Excellent toothbrush with the right blend of performance and convenienceDon't wast your money on the 'upmarket' versions. They only add 'Bells and Whistles' not fundamental cleaning performance.
