I was very pleased with these brushes when I used them the first time. They seemed like great quality. But when I started running some water over them to get the paint out I noticed some of the bristles were coming out. By the time I finished gently cleaning the brush it had lost like 8 bristles. I wasn't hard on the brush when using or when cleaning. If you don't mind losing some bristles, they did work really well.

These are my absolute favorite brushes! They are the best quality I have found without breaking the bank. I can consistently trust them to be firm without being too rough when I paint with Oil or Acrylic. The assortment is perfect. I don't use the angle ones so much in my typical paintings, but they find a way to be used on other experimental projects. For this price, you won't find better!

Generally I like the brushes, the metal part of two brushes have come loose from the wood. I had to press them with pliers

These are firm brushes, but I don't think they are firm enough for oils. I purchased them to use with oils and to even see if they might work with blending down Shiva oil sticks and Sennelier pastels with Gamsol, and they are not firm enough for that. I guess I'm going to have to stick with scrubbers. However, they are nice for medium body acrylics, glazing smoothly with thinner bodied oil layers, and even super firm watercolors (like the Finetec metallics) that need a sturdy brush to "activate" and stir the pigment in the paint.
