Throwback to my pencil case in elementary school
I got one of these for each of my kids as a beginning of school present. They are similar to a Hello Kitty pencil case I had way back in elementary school that I absolutely loved. I figured it might be fun for my kids to have a gimmicky pencil case. In some ways it's kind of practical too. The pencil sharpener is really convenient and the storage space on the underside is great of a small pair of scissors and an eraser. It's also just fun for them to push the buttons and pop the drawers and things out. I was surprised at the quality. Sure, it's a plastic pencil case, but it's fairly sturdy feeling and the buttons all work easily, but not so easily things are popping out when you don't want them to. The magnets that keep the pencil cases shut are also strong enough to actually keep it closed. It won't last forever, but if they don't trash it in a backpack, it should hold up for quite a few years.

as described
I was excited to find this item on Amazon. This type of pencil box was popular in the 80s so it was great to find something so cute just like it now in 2022. The pencil box did not disappoint and was exactly as described. Just received it today so can't speak to the durability over long term use but so far it looks durable and sturdy. Definitely giftable. Very fun features for a kid as well as an adult experiencing some nostalgia!

The First Grade "Must Have"
One kid had this in my daughters class, so naturally they all had to have it. (yes, she did some things around the house to earn it) I will say it is pretty neat, holds a handful of pens and pencils. She has taken it for a pretty good ride inside the backpack, and it has held up for a LOT longer than I anticipated, and it looks like she had a lot more miles left on her.

Kids love this
Bought this to gift to a friend and she loves it. Organizing school supplies is fun for the kids and having a cool multifunction pencil case like this makes school more fun. I used to have something like this when I was kid and loved it so I'm glad it's still being made.

Fun and Functional!
My daughter loves this cute unicorn pencil case! It has lots of compartments, a calculator, and a sharpener—very handy. The calculator isn’t super durable, but overall it’s a great gift for school kida
