This book and this automatic chicken door are my favorite purchases for chickens. The book is superb and very helpful. So nice to have a resource to turn to, when the girls are in need. We recently had a chicken that may have been egg bound or nearly so. Look that up on the internet and you are bombarded with ads on so called chicken sites. What is up with that? I made hundreds of cuts. We bought a lot of items for chickens, coop and all to make it go. The chicken door was in some ways the crowning glory of convenience. Good book. Very helpful information

What a fantastic book! I wish I got this a few years ago when I started having chickens. This books has an abundance of information with pictures, different medications to treat illnesses and dosages. I’ve already recommended it to friends that also have chickens.

This book is a very thorough overview of chicken health problems and pests. It gives lots of helpful tips on how to identify problems and different approaches to solve them. I'm sure it will be a good resource to have on hand. The packaging was kot so great. It was just an Amazon padded envelope. This book is thick and has some weight to it so the flimsy packaging didn't keep the book from getting damaged is shipping.

I have only browsed through this book so far, but it seems really informative and full of useful tips. It's broken down really nicely in sections and has good illustrations. The pages in the book are of a good quality. You can tell the book is well manufactured/printed. It's very easy to look up an issue or problem and be able to reference it fast. The back of the book contains a quick guide to diseases and disorders. There is also a glossary and index to make referencing a breeze.
