I'm 21 yr old college student & makeup junkie.Skin type: Dry & textured. I naturally have deep smile lines & fine lines under & around the outer corners of my eyes.Pros: I've been using this powder for about 2 years on and off. I'm someone who likes to wear a full beat face on the daily. I've tried numerous different powders, always looking for ones that might work better than this, BUT I have to break it, this powder is the best one I've found! I've used the L. Mercier, CoverFx, Cote Airspun extra coverage, etc... and they all perform poorly on my skin. The CoverFx Perfecting powder is good but this Maybelline one is much better. It's VERY finely milled and leaves your skin soft instead of crusty and lifeless, even if you use it all over your face. I use a damp beauty sponge to pack it under my eyes and all over my face. It's very light but does a great job serving its purpose. I do still have some natural oil come through after a few hours (maybe 4 or 5) which I like. I should mention I spray my face with the Evian water spray about twice when I have completed my makeup, so if you're using an actual (matte) setting spray, it might perform differently.Cons: I do wish it came in a bigger tub though. It's marked a bit high in price for the drugstore considered how little product is inside.

I experimented with this on top of my regular Maybelline New York foundation. The results were excellent, and I highly recommend it. The weather here is outrageously humid -- so much so that my makeup looks "melted" after a few hours no matter how much regular powder I use before leaving the house. I hate to keep reapplying powder during the day, because it gives you a dry, caked-on look. I gave myself a very light application of Facestudio Master Fix on top of my regular powder, and I feel that the results were excellent. My face stayed much more fresh looking with no application of additional powder. Very good product at a modest price.

I love the product it self. I hate the container. The product works great and I love using it. Leaves a nice flawless finish and bonus it sets your makeup for the rest of the day. Works great can't say enough good things about the actual powder. Its super fine and light and does not feel heavy etc.The container on the other hand is the bane of my existence. The powder is so fine that once you release the sticker that keeps blocks the feeding holes for the product to come out of. THAT's IT... you have unleashed a Tsunami of powder. You only need a very little bit of this product. But because there is no slide door to keep the product from entering the other side you have to be super careful about opening the product up.What is the point Maybelline of even having the little holes 50% of the product floods into the other chamber anyway. You might as well have left that completely off for the good it does. If I didn't like product so much I would not even bother.So I removed 1 star for the packaging. I sometimes wont use the product just because I dread opening it. Easy application is part of the product too the packaging makes it messier than it needs to be.

As a professional adult woman who literally never wears makeup, and struggles when I do, I made a new years resolution this year to start wearing at least basic makeup every day at work. This is the absolute best product I've discovered so far.I hate how my face feels when it's covered in makeup, I hate how my makeup rubs off on other things, and I hate how my mascara always ends up smudging under my eyes. This solves all of those things and more!! It sets your makeup so it's not going anywhere, and it also makes your face feel silky smooth. The price is great and it's easy to use.

Honestly, love this product and I’ve used it for years. It kind of disappeared from Ulta and I’ve only been able to find it on Amazon when it’s in stock. I’m pretty disappointed by the amount of product that is in the container. It’s not even filled up half way. When I purchased this product in stores it was always super full. There was no spillage in the bag it was sent in either. This is definitely a 5 star product, but the amount in the container is definitely a disappointment.

Someone bought this for me for a finishing powder and wow, I did my usual test. I used on one eye and another on the other. This passed the test. I love the sheerness, it is so light weight, and it lasts and lasts not only on you but also in the container. I highly recommend this! I have one other I use too.

I have very oily skin and although I use appropriate products on my face, after a few hours the oil breaks through my makeup. This product keeps my makeup looking fresh for 8+ hours. I’m delighted with it. Also I hesitate to put any creams or lotion on my face so I skip sunscreen most of the time because I don’t want to look greasy. It occurred to me that I could possibly try this powder over my sunscreen. It worked beautifully. I’ll definitely be buying this again.

This setting powder is absolutely worth a try! I’ve used more expensive brands and so far this holds up to them without question.My only wish is that there was more in the container but at this price, I’ll live.The powder does not dry your face out, make you splotchy or stop working. The picture I posted was taken several hours after applying my makeup for a friends wedding. It was super hot that day and my makeup stayed perfect all day and night!I get very oily and have extremely watery eyes and this stuff kept everything in place.My little side tip, a little really does go a long way.
