I had tried to make round poached eggs using the rings from my canning jars, but the eggs ran out under the rims and stuck to the pan making a royal mess. So I researched egg rings online, hoping to find ones not made in China. These "crumpet rings" durable non stick rings come in sets of 4-6 and are nonstick to boot. Best part- they are made in the UK! While I haven't made crumpets in them, I have made poached eggs for breakfast sandwiches several times already with great results. As you can see from the photos, they come neatly packaged with ideas how to use them. I tried them in both stainless steel and cast iron pans. I prefer my cast iron pans as they are non-stick by nature and the butter I put in before the egg added an extra non-stick coat. After cracking each egg and breaking the yolks (we aren't runny yolk folks) I just added a coffee mug full of water around, turned on the heat and covered- and it took about 5 minutes for well set eggs. I used a silicone coated tongs to remove- the eggs just pop out!- as to not scratch them, and a small slotted flat turner to remove the cooked eggs from the pan. I also love that the are non-stick and are easy to clean up with soapy water and a dishcloth or sponge. Pros: Easy to use- did not have to grease the ring prior to use. Durable and smooth, rolled edges make them look elegant. Well worth the cost (not cheaply made, and should last a lifetime) Great packaging- would be a perfect gift for the cook in your life Fast delivery! Large size holds large eggs that would fit an English muffin or breakfast sausage patty Cons: The only con was the box didn't include any recipes or instructions. You do want to make sure when you put them in your pan you get them to the flat inner surface. My stainless steel pan has a curved side and if the ring is too close to the edge it showed light underneath which would allow the egg to bleed out into the water.

These are nonstick, easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. They arrived in a very sturdy box and are made of good material, not a bendable metal. I have only used them once, since they’re new,, for cooking eggs, and they work very well, keeping the eggs stationary in the pan.

Nice rings, perfect for crumpets or round eggs or same size pancakes. I have purchased for gifts also.

Have used these twice now for making crumpets and they work like a charm. They will be useful for eggs too.

They are not quite as heavy as I thought they would be after reading some of the reviews, but they are very adequate for the purpose for which they are intended, and are very non-stick. Worked very well.

Perfectly sized, sturdy, and smooth! These are top quality. So glad I ordered from this company. I am going to order a second set soon so I can cook even more crumpets at the same time in a second pan ( I refrigerate and freeze them and use them throughout the week/month! Crumpets are my new addiction in the cold weather!) They keep the shape perfectly, don’t leak, never leave a taste on the crumpets, and can be washed really easily because the oil slides off in warm water and dish soap. If you are looking for crumpet rings, you won’t regret buying these!

These Wrenbury Crumpet Rings are Very , very nicely made. Will enjoy using them with no doubt what so ever! I bit the bullet with the purchase because of the price...BUT to see the quality when this arrived, put all doubts aside.....Thankyou!

I bought these rings to make egg McMuffin type sandwiches. I experimented by greasing two rings, but not greasing the other two. It didn’t seem to make a difference, whether I greased it or not, the eggs came out very easily and there was no leaking out at the base.

A good quality product and they are definitely non-stick, my crumpets slid out of them with ease. Looking forward to making muffins in them.

At last I have found rings that don’t stick to the food. Just a little oil and perfect eggs that do not leak under the ring and perfect for homemade crumpets. I highly recommend.

Solidly made with rims at the top and bottom good non stick surface, Very easy to use and no leakage. Others are available but these are worth paying the extra to avoid so many of the issues seen with the cheaper alternatives.
