Blue Plate Sandwich Spread, 16 Ounce Jar (Pack of 6)

Growing up in the Deep South, as a child, Blue Plate Sandwich Spread was a staple in my family. Whether used as a simple sandwich with home-grown red tomato slices, fresh greens, or the fancier sandwiches made with cheese, ham, or bacon, it was always a treat. Today, 30 years later, it has not lost its zing and is still made in Louisiana. It reminds me of my childhood, family, relatives, and friends - where I felt loved and safe, and found fun in the simple things, such as softball, wading in the creeks, and chasing rabbits…..! So happy to find it sold on Amazon!

We had this on a sandwich from a restaurant down in TN, and it definately adds flavor to any sandwich. The flavor comes from the pickle relish and a hint of some red peppers gives it the kick. We especially liked it on hamburgers once we purchased from Amazon, the spread is pretty close to what a McDonald's spread would be for flavor. So basically we learned about luzianne tea and Blue Plate from this place not too bad... Even better the product is gluten free Enjoy

Do not pay $60 for this...go find it somewhere else l.

I've been purchasing Blue Plate Sandwich Spread from Amazon since 2013 and this most recent order of 6 jars on 4/26/21, was unusable and unsightly. Product had completely separated. I was refunded immediately upon return request and I discarded the product. After contacting the company, I was informed this separation is due to storage and shipping, if by air. I ordered directly from the company and the product was perfect. Please be advised, order at your own risk from Amazon. This is really a great product, otherwise.

A local store brand recently changed their recipe to include far too much "dill pickle juice" flavor, and nothing else in the stores was better. This brand is not exactly what I want, but definitely the best I've found. Worth a try!

This is an amazing tasting spread! Being on the West coast, I had not tried/seen this brand before. Now it is the only brand I will buy/order. Will be trying it with deviled eggs and egg salad for Holiday parties.

Appears to be spoiled when delivered, but it's not, must mix and refrigerate, but it's still doesn't thicken enough, the taste is okay, I mixed it with tuna

I ordered this item and return for an exchange. Both shipments came in and were not good. Both had a sell by day of July 19 so was not expired. Seems like they were stored some where in heat and spoiled.
