The price of this straight edge is perfect. I do quite a few cylinder head jobs and finally decided on purchasing this instead of just dropping them off at the machine shop and hoping they tell me how warped they are. The quality seems to be good and it works as designed.

Not bad product for the price
Ok so this is light and straight enough for basic things but it is not as accurate as my stainless one. It would work well for head and block surfaces on a car if thats what you would want it for.

Great tool for automotive work
I purchased this during an engine rebuild job to help determine if my cylinder head was warped. Worked perfectly and save me having to take the head to the machine shop, wait several days, and pay for inspection. Very sturdy tool and looks to be perfectly accurate in straightness.
