A great book
I've recently finished reading this book, and am very impressed with it. The book is well-written and easy to understand, and gives a good introduction to a wide variety of energy healing methods.There's a wealth of information here, with lots of practical exercises. Topics include the meridians, the chakras, the radiant circuits, the aura, the basic grid, pain relief, protection from EM fields, dealing with illness, and more. Some areas are covered in more depth than others; for example, the basic grid was only discussed briefly, and I'd love to learn more. But given the breadth of the book, it's understandable that she can't go into lots of detail about each area. The number of practical techniques might feel a bit overwhelming, but of course you don't have to do everything. There's a simple five minute routine to get started, and then the other techniques can be added in if/when you feel the need.Scientific references are given throughout, which may help to convince the sceptical. Personally, I don't care too much about that aspect - I'm more concerned about whether it works for *me*. And although I haven't had a chance to try all the exercises yet, I've been impressed by those I've used (they noticeably boost my energy, and my chronic joint pain has eased off a lot since I've been doing daily acupressure and now some of Eden's techniques too). The book also include case studies of people who have benefited from the methods, which are interesting and encouraging to read.My only criticism of the book is that it's a little hard to read in places. One problem is that the text often refers to diagrams elsewhere in the book without giving page numbers, so you have to go on a hunt through the book to find them (I've pencilled in the page numbers myself). In other places, the page numbers are included, so the inconsistency is a bit odd. The other issue is that while most of the diagrams are good, there are some that are unclear. Figure 26, for example, shows the strengthening and sedating points for the meridians, and is labelled with tiny pencil marks that are in many cases too small and faint to read easily (for me anyhow - maybe your eyes are better!). This wouldn't be a problem for someone who already knows which points are which, as they could just refer to the pictures. But I'm quite new to acupressure and I had to check some of these points against the chart in another of my books to be sure I was learning the right ones. I hope these labels will be improved in a future edition.But these are minor quibbles. Overall, I like this book a lot, and recommend it to anyone who wants to take charge of their health and learn more about how the body really functions on a subtle level. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Just a simple 5 minute routine to feel great that works? What's not to love about this book?!
I worked my way through Donna's simple 5 minute daily energy routine, and was amazed by how much better I felt. Just a few minutes and I felt lighter, clearer, with lots more energy and had a big smile on my face. What's not to love? If like me, you too have been intrigued by acupuncture and meridians and then got utterly confused and frustrated by complicated and apparently contradictory diagrams. - look no further and grab this book with both hands. It's a very accessible and empowering book you can dip into as you please or read from cover to cover. Donna describes several different energy systems/patterns that we have in our bodies, and simple things we can do when things get sluggish or blocked. I quickly realised that I naturally adopt some of Donna's suggested postures/practices when I feel stressed or a bit off balance to help me to feel better. Get to know and take care of yourself at a deeper level, and find ways of shaking off the stresses of everyday life that really work. I highly recommend this brilliant guide.

Fantastic!
Amazing book. I want to meet the author! Fascinating, eye opening, inspiring, very thorough, and definitely something I want to learn more about. I chose this book as I was interested in/reading about acupuncture and having done some reading about it, I was confused about a lot of the energies, meridians, and states that govern the body and can underlie illness. This book for me has gone deeper, seems to have explained more and in more detail, and yet has simplified and clarified things for me. If I had to put down one constructive criticism, it would be that the diagrams/explanations of how to do some of the exercises can be a little confusing at times and not as clear as they could be. But otherwise I think it's a fantastic book about an incredible subject and a truly inspriting woman and her gift. It's something I'll be recommending to all my friends, and having finished it, I think I'll re-read to make notes and consolidate the wealth of information enclosed. Definitely 5 stars from me.

An interesting book with some good advice and exercises but a bit difficult to follow
I found the book a bit difficult to follow but it had quite good material

One of the best energy healing books ever written
I truly cannot praise this book enough. I've read it cover to cover and the information and exercises in it have truly changed my life. Especially the neurolymphatic points -- they've done wonders for reducing my stress and anxiety. Also since starting to do the 5 minute routine every morning I feel amazing and I'm way more productive. Highly, highly recommend.

How to improve Your Health issues and more
A fantastic guide to self-help health by a lady who had ill health when young and was ignored as hopeless by Western medicine. Donna worked very hard to find her own cures- firstly for MS and has an amazing history, both her own and the extensive help she has given to others world wide. This is a Classic tome and does require some study, but if you have a health issue and cant get help, this is a good place to start and also recommend her book for Women's health. There are Practitioners in the UK and Donna runs a First Level Course every year in the South of England. Her (drug free) way of working is different but does bring brilliant results, and she is married to a well known Medical doctor - David Feinstein. Her5-minute Daily Routine is well recommended and can bring huge changes when regularly practised. There is a useful introduction to her work on YouTube - watching in action is helpful.
