Can I use Glass (Pyrex) cookware to this 7" model?

Yes, this Pyrex double boiler can be used on a gas range right on the burner. If you are using an electric stove it can also be used, but not directly on the burne Most of those glass double boilers came with a wire either star shaped or a ring, slightly smaller than the bottom of the pot. This is placed between the glass boiler bottom and the burner, to prevent breakage. It won't work on induction cooktops, but should be fine on an infrared burner. I had one I used for candy making and used it on both conventional gas, an electric stove tops. Just use the wire spacer with the electric burner.

Is the adjustability continuous on this? I'm trying to keep things warm and cook them.

Hi Albert,The BGI20 Series has a control knob for the heat settings. If you want to keep the food warm, you may want to choose between levels 1-2. Hope this helps,Supersaver

Does this type of cooktop has a fan like the inducted cooktop? And so does it make noise? Thank you!

I have the Ovente BG44S model with one burner. It has a small fan located at the back that makes as much noise as a typical desktop PC. I'm not sure about the BG1202S; but I'll bet that model has a fan as well. Also, you must wait for the fan to finish cooling the burners before you cut the power; the fan will shut off automatically after a few minutes, then you can turn off the power switch. If you cut the power before the fan finishes its cycle, it may reduce the life of your electric cooktop. I've had mine for almost 2 years without problems.
