💧 Stop wasting water, start saving effortlessly!
The Electric Shut Off (ESO) Switch Kit is a precision-engineered accessory for Aquatec booster pumps in reverse osmosis systems. Operating on 24VAC AC power, it automatically stops water flow when the pump shuts off, preventing water waste and enhancing system efficiency. Featuring 1/4" quick-connect fittings and an included wiring harness, it ensures a hassle-free installation. Designed exclusively for Aquatec CDP 6800 & 8800 pumps, the ESO must be used alongside the TSO switch to function properly, making it an indispensable upgrade for any professional-grade RO setup.

Works great with my 5-stage Reverse Osmosis (RO) system
I purchased the Electric Shutoff Switch (ESO) for my 50 GPD 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis system, along with the Aquatec 6800 Booster Pump Kit. Before, my feed pressure into the RO system was between 30 and 40 psi, which wasn't enough to push water into the holding tank. I was constantly running out of water, and it was really frustrating. I tried everything: changing filters, replacing the membrane, and even getting a new backflow valve. But it became clear that the pressure was just too low for the system to run properly. Adding this pump was super easy with the provided instructions. Now, my pressure gauge shows about 60 psi, and I haven’t run out of water since. The water pressure coming out of the spigot is also much higher, making it quick to fill up a pitcher. The Electric Shutoff Switch is a great addition. It lets the system "rest" between cycles and stops it from continuously wasting water like before. The pump is very quiet, and with the sink cupboard doors shut, I can't hear it at all when it comes on. This has been the perfect fix for my RO system, and my whole family loves the fresh, clean water.

Water Filtration System Must Have
Must have for any under sink water filtration system with a booster pump. Unless you like hearing the pump run constantly and water go down the drain constantly. If that's your thing, don't buy this anti-headache device. Works excellent so far, after six months. Do recommend

Perfect! Way better than ASO.
Was having problems with my ASO valve when paired with a booster pump. ASO valves don't open with a high end pressure input while the low end was in the cut-in range (was opening at 2-4 PSI lower, causing constant run of the rump and water waste). This ESO ensures the valve always opens and closes at the right time (since it shares the same TSO circuit) 10/10 would ESO again.

Poor mounting, poor documentation but good solenoid so far
No electrical specification for this solenoid other than working voltage. Manufacturer's website ksd.com.tw also none. Documentation is identical as comes with pump, just how to hook up a generic ESO, so nothing specific to the solenoid. Was concerned about power drain but monitoring with the transformer plugged into a Kill A Watt meter showed only around 4 watts extra for the solenoid over the 13-15 watts the pump used. No mounting flanges, just a couple of holes on the underside. Guess I'll need to mount it screwed to a small block of wood, right now it's hanging from the pump 😔 It works as advertised with the above caveats. The jury is out on how long it will last.

Works like a champ
Came with instructions and easily installed. Works extremely well with my booster pump.

Works well for a RO water pressure boost pump.
This is the best way to shut off water to an RO boost pump which is often used to boost RO efficiency when used with a well/pump. Most well pumps provide 40 - 60 psi, and the RO works better with higher pressure, up to 80 psi. This valve is reliable, and just works!

works great
works great and allows you to remove the old style balancing valve that can't be adjusted. You can install this valve after the prefilters but before the pump which can increase the life of the pump and allow you to control the output pressure of the RO system. Just be sure that you don't set the output pressure greater than the total membrane pressure minus osmonic pressure (osmonic pressure is a product of TDS, and temp of water) as this would adversely affect the quality of your product water. Membrane pressure should be at least 10 psi greater than osmonic pressure + desired output pressure. My two cents Jason

Paired with a Booster
I have had an Aquatec Booster pump for about a year. It has raised the pressure to the membrane to 80 psi. The downside is that if you only pull a small amount of water, the pump does not click on, but product water is made at a lower psi, raising the tds of the final product water. This shut off prevents the making of product water until the booster turns on. You can pull small amounts of water. Once enough water has been drawn, the booster turns on and the shut off opens. It has completely eliminated tds creep in my system.

Planning on installating this and although the description clearly states that instructions are included, none were.
