I was going to buy a replacement band from the company I bought my watch from, the replacement band was over $50 so I found this and I like it way more than the original band. Seems like high quality leather and looks great. Very easy install

My mistake by searching by my watch model type. You (me) need to be careful as apparently there is multiple Timex expedition scout models with different sizes, the description and package wasn't clear either, thus I opened it before realization it wouldn't work for my watch model type. It wasn't compatible with an 18mm band of my Timex model. I had to reorder. (After ordering the proper size, I upgrade the rating to 5 stars. It is a product from China, but the band is real leather both front and back. The slide levers are fantastic and make installation so simple)

Nice leather. A little hard to buckle, you have to bend the band lots to get it in the first loop. I fear that it will cause a crease in the leather over time.Much nicer than a plastic band that sweats on your arm.

My 2nd buy... Straps have been great. Tough at first but they get comfortable with use. Great finish and look. Love how easy it is to replace starps with spring loaded pin.

These are nice leather straps. Keep in mind that Ritche sells 2 different kinds of side-stitched leather straps: one is padded with a slight taper, and it other is flatter with no taper. This one is the padded variety, but the Amazon description doesn't clarify this.I have bought 2 so far and they are good for the money. My only gripe is the buckle is a little long (it's actually extremely subtle and I am positive that almost no one would notice what I mean) and I can't tell if the polished finish is a chrome coating or truly polished. It's very smooth and mirror-like. The black version is also very smooth and polished looking rather than a matte coating.Overall, these are a great option to try out if you're just not sure which color or type of strap you want.

Nice quality for the price. Comfortable on the wrist. Adds a fresh look to my Fortis.

Handsome watch band, easy to install, genuine leather, nice natural color.The challenge is that with only a week of daily wear, the finish is coming off as shown in the picture. The band has never been wet or otherwise used in a harsh environment.
