The Absinthe Essence is fantastic! Comes with quick & easy to follow instructions. Very pleased with the results!

I absolutely did not like this stuff when I first got it, but there are some simple tricks that will make it look and taste like genuine absinthe. Combine the flavor packet with a bottle of high proof vodka (100 proof or greater). When serving, stir in some simple syrup. (I used Splenda and water for that, but you can use sugar. Don't add Splenda directly to the booze, or you'll get a glob floating around in there! Dissolve the Splenda in some water first.) That approach takes away the bitterness of the product and makes it taste like absinthe. It also produces the characteristic "louche" effect of absinthe. Considering the cost of "real" absinthe, this is a pretty good option.
