Great Ink! Smooth, and Dark!
Great ink! Used for printing and with a brush. I keep a shot glass of it on my art table to add brushes of ink whenever I want. I left it open and it dried out, added water and it works fine. Wonderful product. Smooth, with dark pigment.

This ink got the job done.
I needed this ink for printing projects at school for a State competition. Several of my students had their work selected for the show.

Quality Ink
This ink is thicker then other brands that I have used, but gave great coverage. We used it to create 200 pillowcases for a non-profit camp weekend. Shipped quickly!

I've always loved Speekball's printing inks for my school projects
I've always loved Speekball's printing inks for my school projects. Thick but fluid and water washable for easy clean up of brayer and inking plates/blocks, as long as you get them when they're wet.

Good Water-Based Block Printing Ink
I made a linoleum carving to create a block print Christmas card. This water based ink is perfect for block printing. The cards came out great, and the cleanup was easy.

Excellent block printing ink!
This is a lovely printing ink. It rolls out well to a perfect consistency and prints beautifully. I will certainly be buying this brand again, although not for a while because this tub will last me years!

Very Thick (Almost Like A Paste)
I am new to block printing so perhaps it's user error (though I did some research and found others had similar experiences...) This is solid black ink but it's kinda "goopy" and almost too thick to work with. Just a small amount was hard to spread out to use and then it seemed gloppy on my stamp and made my stampings look messy with edges undefined. I tried using a very thin coat but then my print didn't come out solid... It looked faded but had nice clearly defined line edges.

woodblocks work great with speedball. Handy art ink is garbage. Buy good ink

DO NOT BUY FROM AMAZON! This is either not genuine speedball ink or it’s been sitting on a shelf for years. Pure garbage. Too sticky and dry and impossible to use!
