This is pretty good compared to the more expensive ones. Sturdy - but not super sturdy. Would prefer it if it was easier to lock up and stay firm, but it did the job. If you use this for a project or two, I would go for it, but if you will use this frequently, I would probably invest in a more established brand.

This product worked very well. Very easy to use. I had to replace my flooring in my house, and it made it so much simpler to cut out the edges and corners. Saves a lot of the guess work!!

It’s okay. It will accurately hold the shape of your contour, when used with extra attention. I would rather have a metal one like my dad had. It’s really loose before you brake the pins in place, and not all that tight once you brake them. The brake doesn’t snap smoothly into place either. Snapping it into place has disrupted my contour shape. The pins aren’t as long as I’d like them to be, and the retaining band sticks out and interferes when contouring anything that is close to the wall. It does what it says it does, nominally. It wasn’t terribly expensive, so I know I can’t expect top quality. The design is meh, the durability? Well, it’s all plastic. I wouldn’t buy it again, I am much more likely to shop for a higher end product that is easier to use.

Perfect t gift for the handyman that has everything!

My husband and I had replaced flooring in several rooms in our home a few years ago and ran into a few problem areas when trying to cut pieces to fit around doors and stairs. If we had these Varsk gauges back then, it would have saved us hours of painstaking headaches trying to get the correct measurements and fit in those tedious areas. Now that we've found these contour gauges in different sizes, we did sort of a dry run test to see if they would work well for our project. Yes, we think we're ready to tackle our kitchen floor! They both performed just as advertised and we can't wait to get started after the holidays. Easy to use, we'll made and locking mechanism worked well. Packaging was also good and shipping was expediant.

Used it to go around pipe on the my deck at the lake. Worked well.

The pins are not very accurate, I would like to return it. Not satisfied. Please advise
