Great Lens, Reasonable Size, Autofocus slightly lacking
Wonderful experience with a renewed product. High minimum F-stop means low light performance is going to be a little sub-par with this lens, but it more than makes up for it in other areas. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in buying this lens at full Sony price, but Amazon renewed makes it a bit more palatable. The lens extends by nearly twice it's normal length when fully zoomed in. I also heavily underestimated how much 350mm of zoom really is, so make sure you know what you're getting into. This was great for birds and other animals, and zoomed-in portrait shots made for delectable bokeh.Build quality is amazing, photos come out wonderful. Cons are that it's not a great lens to travel with or take anywhere, too heavy for many gimbals (but the out-of-body zoom makes that nearly impossible anyway), and the Autofocus can be a bit sluggish. Other than that, though, this makes for a great purpose-driven long-range lens. I wouldn't buy this for general use, but if I was more into birdwatching or landscape photography, I might be more inclined.

Nice lens, heavy, fogs up easily, hard to turn zoom
Bought this for a trip. It was much heavier than I expected. Using on Sony A6400. I was hoping to use without a tripod since is has OSS. While the OSS seems to work fairly good it is just too heavy to use handheld. I also thought the zoom in our was hard to turn would have preferred easier movement. I had trouble with it fogging up anytime temperature changed that my tiny zoom did not.

Review of seller
Great lens, but this is a review of the seller. The lens came in time, as ordered, and it came packed in a padded lens case. Above and beyond. Great job.

Great for AirShows.
Put subject as airplane and it picked them up almost instantly. Focus is fast and colors are spot on.Lens is light and perfect for a day of photography.

Very Versatile Lens
A very good lens from Sony. Will remain a part of my camera kit, especially for the range in which it can shoot.Only difficulty found with the lens is with low light environments. If you are going to shoot low light, I recommend biting the bullet and paying extra to get a 2.8 if possible.Otherwise, a solid lens that I will use for a long time

The best low end tele-zoom I've used
Pros Sharp Fast AF Light SmallCons Low quality construction DX (can't use as a full frame lens) Vignetting even in crop mode Not as close focus as 100-400 Heavy pincushion distortion above 100mm.I wasn't expecting much from such a small lens. But the it's almost GM 100-400 for crop sensor cameras or cropped image on full frame. Above pictures are from A9 in crop mode. AF is fast and accurate for bird in flight. Best lens to carry around with family for a quick wildlife shot. 100-400 is definitely a better lens (closer focusing and may be a tad sharper). But if you are looking for a light weight solution especially for a crop sensor camera this is the best lens.Biggest issue is the distortion. If you are planning to use the lens for architecture you will be disappointed. It has heavy pincushion distortion in most focal length even though you can correct it in software or camera..

Amazing!!
For those looking for a travel zoom lens for their Sony APS-C camera look no further than this lens. The 70-350 is a compact and light zoom lens that works for all travel and sports photography applications that your aps-c will throw at you.I use mine with an a6700 and it works wonders, the 350mm reach is awesome for getting to around the 50 yd line while being behind the end zone for some wider shots, or closing in on the subject when inside the 30.It has a focus lock button that works well when you don’t want to keep changing focus with the auto focus. 10/10 recommend the lens for anyone with a e-mount aps-c camera that needs a zoom lens for under $1,000
