Perfect for my purposes! I'd previously ordered a Zima silk pillowcase and a cheaper case from Suatien, and oh man. The Suatien case must've been fake silk, because in comparison with my Zima case it was almost coarse, and it developed strange, small holes within like, 3 weeks. My point being when it comes to silk, you get what you pay for. I'm no silk sommelier or anything, but after a quick Google search I found out 22-25 momme weight and grade 6A silk is what's most commonly used for bedding. This sleep mask claims to meet those standards and I'm convinced it does. When I said this mask serves my purposes, I meant I use it in a specific setting and in other situations it might not be the most viable option but here's why it works for me: The band isn't adjustable, but it's stretchy and has an inner circumference of almost approx. 25" at maximum tension and stretch but you're probably not gonna need all of that. It fit me great and I have a weirdly shaped head, big round forehead and kinda flat on the back of my skull, and 95% of the time this mask stays put throughout the night, and I toss and turn violently in my sleep, like VIOLENTLY. Another feature I specifically love is how lightweight and soft it is as well as never too tight. My head is also not only weirdly shaped, but strangely sensitive (headbands, claw clips and the bands of hats like beanies can sometimes give me headaches or if they touch my ears make my ears super sore) so I have to be extra careful about what I can wear around and on my head and this mask causes none of those issues. As for blocking out light, I use this mask in my bedroom with blinds and curtains on the windows and I honestly use it more to block out any light from the TV my husband may be using or light slipping through the blinds during the afternoon. For travel and actually trying to block out sunlight, I feel this mask would be less effective so though I've not yet travelled with it, it probably wouldn't be best for that. It's definitely more of an at home, treat-yourself to this relaxing silk mask type thing. But it does really help me sleep by getting me relaxed and 'prepared,' to rest so it even helps a bit with my sleep anxiety. So I do recommend it if that's what you're looking for in a sleep mask!

The padding feels nice, instead of a flat, thin eyemask. Plus, it is made of the same Mulberry silk, so no synthetic materials. At first, light was coming in at the bottom around my nose, but all I had to do was tighten the strap, which made it more snug, and actually more comfortable and soft. Very happy with it.

When I wear the band normally, it hurts my ears so I wear it over my ears. I thought the adjustable band would stop it from falling off my face when I wear the band over my ears but it sadly does not. Still, it’s very comfortable and good quality. Blocks all light.

I just started sleeping with masks when on vacation a light kept shining in the bedroom window as the Airbnb didn't have curtains, now I'm hooked this mask is so silky and the quality is right up there and great for the price I highly recommend.

I bought this mask with 2 others to compare. This was the most expensive one. The only difference was the strap. The strap is adjustable under the silk covering. (Which is good, I wanted it to be adjustable!) The other masks I bought did not have the silk covering over the strap. All three let some light leak around the nose. And all three were very nice and made with high quality fabric. Including this one, it's a very nice mask! But it's not nicer than the others at the lower price point. I am very disappointed in the carrying pouch provided for this mask, though. It has the consistency of plastic and it's just not very luxurious compared to the quality of the mask. The ZOESMEIN mask I bought cost less and it was just as nice as this one... but the carrying case was made out of silk and it's the same color as the mask. It felt much more luxurious even though the price was lower. The bag cheapens this mask in my opinion. So much that I'd rather it not be included at all. I would have expected such a cheap case from the $10 BLSSNZ mask. The ZOESMEIN mask also has a very similar design so there is no real difference between the masks themselves if you leave out the pouch. Overall the only thing that stands out about this mask is that the strap being covered with silk. That may mean more to some, but for me it doesn't matter. So I'll use this one, but it comes in third place. ZIMASILK has the largest color selection compared to the other masks I ordered. So if that's important enough to pay a premium price, then do you. Out of the three masks I ordered, this one is the least likely to be re-ordered in the future because I don't care about the strap and the carrying pouch is just absolutely embarrassing. The others masks I bought were just as high quality and cost less. I don't think I'd feel the same about this mask had it come with a luxury pouch that matched the vibe of the luxury mask. You can see the difference in the pouch quality in my second photo. The stiff ZIMASILK cheap bag compared to the silk bag provided for the ZOESMIEN mask. It's such a shame. Update: After sleeping with all of these for a few nights, I can confirm this one is my least favorite. The silk strap slides around on my hair and the mask ends up being a headband and not covering my eyes. The other two with the un-covered straps both stay on better and after a few nights the cheapest one (BLSSZN) actually has become the preferred mask. This one I will probably give to my daughter and if she doesn't like it I think it'll get tossed.

I have never used an eye mask before and after I had my baby I needed to get good sleep. This was so comfy and nice on my face, I wouldn’t be able to sleep without it! It took me a couple of nights to get used to it but after that I loved it. I didn’t have any problems with my face breaking out or sweating and I usually get really hot but not with this!
