TLC Plates Aluminium Backed Silica Gel 60 F254 10cm x 10cm （20/Box）

I ordered these for my son's science experiment. The plates worked well with Acetone/Hexane solvent for chromatography of plant pigments. Much more affordable than going with the lab supplies companies.

These are more flaky and a bit sparkly instead of smoothly glowing under UV light, compared to Millipore, and they run twice as fast with higher Rf values but the price is fantastic for a teaching lab or casual use. Photoshop Express on a smart phone can vastly improve the contrast using the dehaze, clarity and contrast sliders.
