Exact replacement item on current Jetta and many other cars
I was on a 1100 mile return journey from seeing my grand daughter and went around a curve on the interstate to find a truck had lost aluminum coils which had unraveled across all the lanes. UH OH! Swerved to the median on the left and immediately ran over a board, but did NOT run over the aluminum or wreck into cars in adjacent lanes. A couple miles later the dash indicated that I had a low tire pressure in the left rear. Pulling over and inspecting the tire I found nails in the tread. Unloading the trunk I found no spare in my 2019 Jetta, only a compressor and can of sealant. CRAP! Oh well, worth a try, it was the only option other than calling a tow! It worked and allowed me to make it back, over a thousand miles with no loss of air. Wow, beats any other blow in sealant I've ever used. So where do I get a replacement canister of the sealant? VW dealers want a lot more for the same item, so I bought this here on Amazon. Just in case. If you own a truck of larger vehicle they have a larger can of sealant for those tires also. When this happens to you there are several options open to you. Buy a spare tire and jack or replace the can of sealant. This is by far the most frugal method as a spare and jack at the dealer are well over $300. I can search for a used jack and spare to save dollars, and covered if something happens again in the mean time.

The Only One That Worked for Me
This was the only item that actually sealed my flat vehicle tire. It attached to my compressor with no issues and got the job done. All the "fix-a-fat" stuff and alike is just garbage. So now I know, stick with the sealants that combine with the compressor.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AT A $40 SAVINGS.
I recently had to use the Tire Mobility Kit furnished with my car, having picked up a nail traveling at high speed on Interstate 95. I exhausted the bottle of sealant supplied with the kit. The car manufacturer’s price for a replacement bottle of the liquid sealant is $72. It’s an outrageously high price when an identical product Active Seal is available on Amazon for $32. The white sealant in Active Seal is identical to my car manufacturer’s “ Authorized Factory Replacement”sealant for an additional $40. I don’t know what the car manufacturer is authorizing since they didn’t manufacture the Michelin tires on my car. Don’t fall for their Trump like lie to get you to spend $72 for their product when Active Seal is an identical product for $32. It is now in the kit in my car; the next time I pick up a nail in my tire, I will be happy I have Active Seal to do the same fast fix as the factory approved product at a savings of $40. Amazon scores again delivering to my front door in one day, a superior product at a $40 saving.

It seems to work!
I have yet to use it but I did try it without plugging into the tire and the material did come out. Took forever for the material to stop coming out and it solidified, showing it can potentially plug up a hole. The material is hard to rip apart.

Works but not great
Required pressure to get flowing is significantly hire than what you'll want your tire to be inflated to so you have to watch your gauges closely. Additionally it's very messy/leaky compared to a regular bottle of pre-compressed flat-fixes. -IF you don't feel comfortable having compressed cannisters in your emergency kit and IF you keep a powered compressor in the car, don't mind some mess, and don't mind only getting one tire per purchase this worked okay. Bottle warns you to restrict your mileage and speed once you've used it and keep in mind that flat-fix solutions are NOT permanent fixes they're not gonna hold up for weeks or months they're gonna get you to the garage long enough to have them fix it professionally or more likely replace the tire completely. Keep in mind too that all tire places HATE this stuff, because it's a huge mess and some even charge extra to clean up after removing it. WARN them if a tire has flat-fix in it.

Frustrating that car manufactures include this instead of a spare
I have a Chevy Volt (great car)... The tires were 6 years old and getting cracked on the sidewalls. I touched a curb, and that tire went flat. I could see it was likely a sidewall leak... Went to get the spare tire out... WHAT??? NO SPARE TIRE?????!!!! Apparently with all the batteries (it's a hybrid), there is no room for a spare, just a tire repair kit that included something like this and an electric pump. I was pretty sure it would not fix the flat (sidewall and all), but tried unsuccessfully anyway... What a total mess. A tow truck and new tires later, and I was back on the road. Anyway, this is an exact replacement for the OEM very expensive replacement. Fits perfectly in the tire repair kit for the next time I need to unsuccessfully fix a flat. No doubt, will be just as big a mess too.

Worse than useless; Can't be relied upon.
it gives you a false sense of security, and doesn't work when you need it. Kept it in the vehicle since 2020 as a replacement for my original. it appears to identical in design and function, and fits my OEM compressor for my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SEL in the exact same manner as the original. However, when I finally needed to use it, removed it from the still sealed package, hooked it up following the simple instructions to my flat tire & turned on the compressor... nothing was transferred to the tire. Ran it for several minutes with no inflation taking place. When I unscrewed the compressor from the device, a stream of the liquid squirted out from the canister where the compressor hose connects. I hooked the compressor host directly to the tire, and it worked perfectly, so I conclude there is nothing wrong with the tire valve nor the compressor itself. The tire does inflate with the compressor alone before leaking pressure out again at about 4 PSI per hour. No sealant went into the tire, and the hose connected to the sealant jar seems really hard, as if it is fully clogged with sealant. My guess is that sealant is in the hose and has SEALED it. BTW, there is a expiration date on the sealant package: December 2025... which is 13 months from now.

Je n’ai pas de pneu de secours dans ma voiture phev. En cas de crevaison, cette bouteille set à injecter un liquide scellant dans le pneu pour une réparation temporaire suffisante pour se rendre à son garage préféré.

Noticeably dimmer than othe brands I've used, so I gave them a 3/5.

I have an Airman compressor purchased 15 yrs ago, and for sure the sealant cannot be guaranteed. Therefore I decided to purchase same brand hoping to be a perfect fit into the original space. The bottle length -barely 14cm is shorter than original which is 18 cm, therefore less sealant and doesn`t fit properly in the case. And the mounting is not the same. See the pictures. Other brands can be purchased at nearly half the price .
