Due to having quite a small kitchen I my new apartment, I needed a knife set that wouldn’t take too much room. I stumbled across this knife set from Joseph joseph, I find a lot of products from this brand are quite overpriced and expensive. Although I did like the design of this knife set, it is a slim block design and features a removable knife sharpener built in. The quality of the knifes are great with the blades being Japanese. Very sharp and lovely to use. The elevate feature of the knife is handy as well as it prevents the blade from touching the surface. The block itself isn’t that great in quality but it doesn’t feel too cheap. Quite an expensive set of knifes. I bought them for £100 which I did feel was rather pricey, but for the space saving design I was willing to pay the price for it.

Excellent knives, and they are sharp!

The knives are really handy and very sharp, exactly what I wanted. However, at the price point, i'd expect a higher-quality block. This one is very flimsy and feels cheap. That being said, the knives themselves are very good, so worth it and for all its sins the block does look nice and neat which is ideal if you don't have much space.

Good little knife set for the kitchen. Nice little addition to have a built in knife sharpener. Definitely a great present for first time home buyers.

I do not recommend these knives. I bought this set 4 years ago and have lost one knife per year. They just break (the one pictured was chopping mushrooms at the time). The had of the blade is not long enough and doesn’t go far enough into the handle, so using them for cutting just puts pressure on a weak point and they ultimately snap. Not worth the money. Buy something else.

Knives are great but the knife block magnets are not, the magnets have come out and the knifes are not secure and are too dangerous to put in the block

I love the design, colour coordination of different knives and the built in sharpener. Fits perfectly on my bench. I would recommend this product.

Good quality knives but the stand is too compact, very easy to knock off an knife when grabbing the one next to it. There are magnets in the stand but these could be stronger, or the knives spaced more apart.

I was not sure I would buy them since there multiple reviews talking about the malfunctioning of the magnets. But they had the look, the fit that I needed and reviews about the knives quality were good. I bought 1 year ago and I haven’t had any issues with the magnets. The knives look elegant, they sit vertically so they dont take up much space and the quality of the knives is actually pretty good and sharp. I bought another set as a gift for my sister this year as housewarming gift.
