High quality product. Larger pill may be hard to swallow for many, but worth it.

Fantastic way to waste money!Bought 3 of these, they were all 13 months past the expiration date, when I bought them in August.Can't get a refund or replacement for the 3 items I purchased that were expired.

I'm really into herbal supplements, but some some reason, I never tried Ashwagandha before. I regularly take Ginseng (for energy) and St. John's Wort (for a mood boost), and I thought perhaps Ashwagandha would be like taking both of those at once. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience with it. For me, Ashwagandha did next to nothing. I much prefer the aforementioned herbs, as well as Kava for anxiety.In fact, I would say these pills actually give me a bit of anxiety, because they're not capsules, they're huge and rough. If you have a hard time swallowing pills, as I sometimes do, you might want to give these a pass.While they didn't do much for me, Ashwagandha does seem to help other people. It might not be for me, but it could work well for you.

These are stressful times for sure, and I was already in a stressful career before the world decided to lose it, in many different ways even without the virus. SO, I've been dabbling in herbal remedies for relaxation and have come across Ashwagandha in other things like teas. When I was offered this Pomona Wellness Organic Ashwagandha supplement I thought I'd try it out.I've been taking it for about 2 weeks, they are small, easy to take pills and I usually only take 1 a day. You can take 1-3 per the instructions depending on your needs. Do I feel less stressed? Yes I think I do. Significantly? Meh, debatable but I only take the 1. Some websites claim Ashwagandha helps with anxiety, thyroid problems, weight loss, muscle strength and recovery, and memory. So you may also get some side benefits. Side effects on the internet include giddiness (which frankly I'd welcome), a "heavy" sensation in the head, blurry vision, elevated testosterone levels, and increased stomach acid- none of which I've personally experienced by taking 1 pill a day. There are other conditions taking it could effect so if you have any medical conditions always do your homework and ask your trusted doctor or pharmacist even.At 19.99 per bottle and 120 pills they come out about 16 cents each. If you only need one a day that's a 120 day supply so that's not too shabby if it helps you at all. I will continue to take until this particular bottle is gone and update if I see any significant change. If it stays as is I'll see how much of a difference it makes when I stop taking it. Again, I'll update if need be!
