I started growing my tomatoes in pots as I was experiencing brown leaves due to something going on with my soil. I staked my plants and added six strings to the stakes so that when the tomatoes grew, I could support the branches. These worked perfectly as you could add more, move them if necessary and remove them when they outgrew the support without disturbing the plant. I even gave some to my neighbor as he was so impressed with the system. They are super easy to use and can be reused for years.

Bought to training my vegetables to grow vertically. They were easy to work with and mostly durable. Only a few had issues. I would certainly buy again.

I thought this would be a great idea and way to support my tomatoes. However as they grow taller and thicker, using these plastic clamps seemed like a good idea. However, the more the plants grow, the taller and thicker they become. The clamps start to cut off the circulation. No matter how much water, they started wilting. I realized the plants that weren’t as big, weren’t showing that problem. I took off the clamps and put them away, and switched to green twist ties. I believe the plants will recover their prior vigor now. They are meant for tomatoes and the amount of them in the box is good, and the price is reasonable. The clamps are well made and easy to put on, but somewhat difficult to remove. Unless you’re using thinner stakes, I would hesitate to recommend them.

Used them this year in trellising tomatoes in my greenhouse. Thought I would need alot of them; instead I used 2 - 3 per plant. Once the plant needed another clip; I took from the bottom most and used on the top. They worked great on tomatoes that I grew with two leads. The peppers & eggplant not so good but I didn't prune them either. Next year I will prune them as well to 2 to4 leads. They seem sturdier than the ones I had in the past.
