Is there a list of  pigments and lightfastness rating for each color?

Hi Go to schipererrfarben.com and click on "color information."  The color chart will have standard pigment numbers such as PY14 which means pigment yellow number 14.  There is a comprehensive website that gives detailed information about every pigment.  It should not be hard to find.  I don't know the URL.  Regards, Mark

The most well-known scales measuring the lightfastness is the Blue Wool Scale, defined by ASTM (American Standard Test Measure). On the Blue wool Scale the lightfastness is rated between 1–8. 1 being very poor and 8 being excellent lightfastness On ASTM scale the lightfastness is rated between I-V. I is excellent lightfastness and it corresponds to ratings 7–8 on Blue Wool Scale.
V is very poor lightfastness and it corresponds to Blue Wool scale rating 1-2

The brushes it came with are nylon/plastic, so I definitely recommend getting your own- the set itself is fabulous however !

How do I get the lightfastness rating info? Seller keeps saying “contact us” but there is no way to contact them???

There is a standard directory for pigments.  Orange would be POxx.  Online you can read the chemistry.  Usually the manufacturer will give lightfast ratings.  Real cadmiums and earth pigments such as umber are all LF 5, the best.
