Oral Board Review for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: A Study Guide for the Oral Boards 2021st Edition

This book is a fairly comprehensive review of the specialty. Compared to other board review books like the one by Lam/Laskin, this one is a little more wordy but that is my preference because I don't feel the need to cross reference with other texts while reading it. There are good diagrams and tables throughout. They have case examples at the end of topics and use Socratic method questioning to stimulate how you would manage those cases in an oral board situation. Very unique and effective.

Recently took the oral certifying exam and this book was the only physical text I used. Did a good job of capturing the specialty and essentially all the information you need to have is within the text. Easy to follow and the illustrations and diagrams were of good quality and helpful with memorization. I highly recommend this review book for ABOMS exams. Strong work!!

Really excellent oral boards prep, this book is unlike any other resource I have come across, it does an amazing job of laying out cases, preparing you for the structure of the exam and helped me to think about several sections in new ways. A must have for anyone preparing for boards.

Not in a good condition, it has torn pages off

As a graduating OMS resident, this book really helped me change my mental approach to the oral boards format. The cases at the end of the chapters are layed out in a step wise fashion that mimics the oral boards case based conversational format. Really recommend it for anyone taking the ABOMS oral boards.

Passed ABOMS oral boards, this was my primary study source. A thorough knowledge of this book prepares you quite well along with a review course of your choice.

The book was deliveed quickly, packaged well and the condition was as stated.

I have had to order two books. The pages keep falling out during use. At first, I thought it was just the book that I purchased.. maybe a manufacturing error. Now the second book is falling apart. I am now going to need a 3rd book. Who do I need to talk to about this? Major manufacturing issue.
