I purchased these as part of my daughter’s party favor bag for her in school birthday celebration. To make sure I had enough to cover all of her classmates, while still leaving me with a few extras just in case, I ordered 2 packages of straws. I appreciated the quick delivery, which is why I gave the 2 stars, however, upon opening the first package, I discovered nearly all of the pink and purple straws were broken around the top. Not just broken like they had snapped, but broken as in smashed, like they had been stepped on. Luckily the second package was completely fine, so I had just enough for the party favors, which turned out to be a big hit in the end. To be fair, aside from the 5 or 6 that were broken, I really liked the fun design and color of each of the straws. Worked out great for the goodie bags as both the girls and boys seemed to enjoy them.* I HIGHLY recommend adding an extra package of straws for each package ordered to overcompensate in the event you end up with a handful of broken straws like me.*
